I hope we always have high expectations. Don't complain about horrible recruiting if you also always want to be under the radar. And I hope we continue blowing teams out to where we don't have to pass. Wishing we didn't blow out the other teams is laughable.

Fans have no meaningful effect on the results of games.

The reality is the game is played between the lines. The crowd can have some effect, but teams mitigate most of this by practicing with noise, etc.

Enjoy the winning. It can turn quickly.

You are not paid four million dollars for the performance of the AU football team.

Enjoy the entertainment. Support the school and teams.

Your worth as a human being does not hinge on the outcome of a game.

I am always on the edge of my seat for Auburn to pull an Auburn. I have been sucked in time after time and have eventually learned. Hopefully, we got all of that out of our system earlier in the year.

I've participated in 3 sig bets. We've lost all three games. Don't tell me my actions don't impact our team's performance.

Depends on how many fans, for how many games, and how many seasons.

Your weak sleeve action is a better indicator.

Coincidentally, all three sig bets took place before I stumbled on the sleeve coefficient.

checkmate.

Start picking the other team and keep losing then. You're not carrying your weight around here.

Bet against Auburn? Do you not know how any of this works? It's like you people have never been superstitious before.

I do agree that good players want to play where it matters.

So talent will go where resources are put into the program by "fans" who care.

The money fans pay and donate matter greatly.

Superstition? Are you 12? Hedge your bets and you'll always win even if you lose.

agreed

However public assessment and the noise makers (fans) in the stands is another matter. It cost some Richt and now they got Smart (or have they). If you sense dissension I'm sure it's a bitch, but what me or you writes here - only matters here.

I agree.

I am still nervous as hell about Ole Miss, but that has nothing to do with expectations. I just think Ole Miss has shown that they can start out on fire.

But, I do not think this team is any danger of collapsing under the weight of spotlight--- we just have a pretty tough road game situation--- like pretty much every year in the SEC.

That's not a hedge. It's a guaranteed loss for Auburn. I swear, sometimes I don't know how you guys make it through the day.

Oh I'm sorry, and Desean Davis just happened to start playing at an elite level by chance?

I would say you would have a good case if I believed in superstitions, but I don't. That team lost to Clemson because of poor coaching choices.

I do have to admit, as rational as I try to be, when Lee Corso picked Arky last Saturday it made me feel awesome.
