3* TE Zach Sheffer committed to LSU. Was on AU radar at one point. Seriously LSU is saying no to no one right now

Just checked. LSU has 21 commits but only 2 in the top 100. We have 6 commits and 1 in the top 100. Very curious to see how that class finishes up

4* OT Christian Armstrong just committed to FSU
KN seemed to think we were making up ground tho admitted Nolea would be tough to beat. I will be honest I am ok on missing on him. Has struggled at every big time event this spring.

Here's a statement you don't here everyday...Our 2 best chances at OT are probably both from New York, The aforementioned White & Juco Badara Traore.

I would be very happy with that OT class. Wish we could land Barnes but that seems like a longshot

FWIW an AU source says 4* RB Dameon Pierce is an AU lean right now. Likely an AU-UF battle right now.

Bout time a RB wants to play for us in this class
FWIW I think Pierce is a solid back. Not fancy but will do fine in our system and should make some on here happy because he's 200+ lbs

Considering how run heavy and RB friendly out offense is it's honestly disgraceful how long it's been since we've signed a 5* RB, or just an elite level 4*

Honestly, I'd rather steer clear of the 5* backs. Auburn doesn't have a good track record recently.

It's one of those things that I don't worry about but does irritate me. I get why elite players at pretty much any other position might hesitate but RBs should be fighting to come play here

I've learned not to get too upset with how these kids handle the recruiting process or where they land.
