Not sure if we had an offer on the table for him but he has eligibility issues

WTH is going on with this awesome lb class we were supposed to haul in?
It's always "just wait until next year" when it comes to our LB class.

You know the only thing that's really changed with our LB class is we traded Ignont for Moultry right?
Not that bad of a trade IMO

It is my opinion, that we have more talent at LB, albeit young, than in many moons at AU.
It is too bad that Tre Williams couldn't RS his FR year. It is one spot that takes 2 years to be ready in the SEC.

so I think one of the Rivals mods said something about Kenny Britt all of the sudden being a little bit down the board??? They also added that they still feel we lead for him, so it doesn't look like a cover your arse type of thing to make it look like we weren't beat for him.

Kenny Britt
I think we were pumping him up to get the other part of the package deal. Don't remember his name maybe Moultrie?
If we're slowing down on Britt now I'd say it's because it's not looking good with the other kid.
We don't want to get stuck with another Mackenro Alexander situation

Before last year's class we brought in 4 4* LBs.
You're roping in what people said about our DL class before our end of the year haul on the DL.
The reality is that all of the positions folks around here say we don't recruit well doesn't line up with the actual classes we bring in. This is because this board is full of pussies that like to pile on anything bad happening.

See, when we read your posts, The Macho Man is NOT (caps) who comes to mind. If that is how you see yourself, then I applaud your "positive body image".
On that note...
Perhaps Lena Dunham would be a better choice for you than Shrillary.
Learn when to stop.

I have an issue with roster management/ recruiting depth. Wish we brought in a larger quantity of DTs, more pass rush DEs and more true OTs etc
We get too many highly rated recruits to say we fail at recruiting talent though

It's a tough task when you can only sign 25 guys each year. Every position has its needs and at some point you just have to sign the best available. Sure, we probably could get another 3* DT or pass rusher or OT somewhere, but basically we'd just be recruiting the following cycle to replace that 3* guy with a better talent anyways. The scholly limits make it tough.

The issue I have is that we seem to pass on middle 4* guys to strike out with people like Trent Thompson. We consistently hit less than our target DT/DE

Can we all laugh at A&M?
They had a QB decommit from them recently which was followed by their WR coach subtweeting the guy saying he had no loyalty and all that jazz.
Then a WR who was committed to A&M saw the subtweet and wasn't happy about it so he decommitted too.

They are at least one example of a team whose 2017 class is seemingly worse than ours.

there literally, and hopefully, may never be a generation in the history of the world that is more sensitive and bitch-made than these young'ns. My God kids, grow some freakin' thick skin and quit thinking you're a damn superstar at 16 years old. over

Richard McBryde was a hybrid safety that barely weighed 205
Monty Atkinson was 189lbs. I thnk he's finally up to 200
Jordan Colbert was listed as an OLB be he was just a big DB
Holland and Williams are legit but Holland appears to be an edge rusher now so essentially only 1 of those guys are helping us at LB

It's amusing that you move goal posts in order to work some sense into your melts. You've got to be using multiple websites to piece together a post that is factually incorrect. The length that you go through to be obviously wrong in almost every post you make is astounding. You have to realize this, right?
Using 247, and only 247:
Colbert is listed as a safety. So that's where I'll stop mentioning him.
Not sure why McBryde's weight in high school matters but he's listed at 210 in high school and 230 now.
Holland: He was so big he grew out of the LB position.
Williams: 235lbs
All ranked # 8, 12, and 13 at OLB. Atkinson was your 10th ranked ILB and probably the only guy in that LB class worth griping over their size.

So both guys are legit but let's arbitrarily count only one because no good reason.

If only we ran a 4 2 5 that used a hybrid OLB Safety..... Oh fricking wait that's exactly what we do

You talking about the same guy listed at 227? Glad to see you know Wtf you are talking about

Ahh, I see some of my genius is rubbing off on you (not ghey).
These guys must be playing the Long Con. Nobody is that naive.
Not even E, but I haven't seen/heard hide, nor hair from him...anyone??

He was 210 max in HS 227 is his weight now and he got no publicity in Spring.

Both guys are good but i'm not counting Holland as a true LB when he plays sparingly on the LOS.

Our core will be made up of Tre, DW, and TJ Neal. Deshaun Davis and Cam Toney will get mop up duty behind those guys. Paul James and Holland will play off the edge much like Cass did last year.
