Pretty insane the amount of big talent on campus this weekend. Win would cap this thing off nicely

Itawamba CC upset Mississippi Gulf Coast last night. That game had a bunch of AU targets with RB commit Octvius Matthews playing for Itawamba & Brandon Martin, Isaiah Buggs & D'Marco Hayes on MSGC. Haven't been able to find any box scores and none of the recaps have any of those guys mentioned so not sure how they all did

I know Matthews had a 35 yd catch in the 3rd quarter thanks to this outstanding footage by JLee

Is Ryan Johnson supposed to commit soon? Lots of CBs coming in for him.

Why? He will just suck like the rest of the losers on the roster.

Not unexpected. He didn't have a committable ofFer to start with.

He committed, and was told to camp. He has ability, but maybe not an SEC body.

Win/Win

KN says good chance 3* OT D'Marcus Hayes and 4* LB Will Ignont commit soon to Auburn. Will be curious to see if we still would take Britt and Taylor at LB

He's an idiot if he chooses us after that game.

All signs are visit went great. Apparently the struggles on offense didn't concern him. He's expected to take an official for the A&M game. As of now Auburn is in the driver's seat, the major wildcard is if Briles gets a job or Gus gets fired

Did yall see the 24/7 slideshow of our commits high school games. YUCK

Bishop barely threw. Gatewood had like a 20 yard pass. The worst stats I have ever seen by a collection of players. WTF!

Gatewood's offense rotates 3 QBs that are all expected to play D1. Gatewood is the best athlete of the bunch so he does things like return kickoffs & play WR/RB. Bishop is not a good QB & will get the Jason Smith treatment.

Was more disappointing in Octvius Matthews stats. He had only 5 carries & 2 catches. 3 other guys had more carries than him. Was hoping he would put up some big numbers this season

Not a commit but Isaiah Buggs had 11 tackles as a DE in that Itawamba/MSCG game. Dude is a monster. Really hoping we can get him & he steps in as Lawson's replacement next season

so are we recruiting a QB this year or banking on Stidham?

We had Narcisse but he flipped (and tore a 2nd ACL). We ended up #2 for Mond mainly because he doesn't wanna leave Texas so at this point it appears Stidham is our top target and we are in the driver's seat. Still long ways to go to NSD & who knows if Gus will still be here but as of now, yes Stidham appears to be the plan at QB this cycle

And he'd have 3 years to play 3, correct?

And if we get him, we'll complain that Gus can't develop his own players, correct?
