Wouldn't put it past BOL, but not the case here. Bama has a plan to place Chidi in prep school should he not qualify.
And for the love of God please say where you are getting your bama stuff since we have asked many times or just shut the frick up about Bama please. It's annoying as hell.

Him and weagle25.

Weagle is jumping into a fight late, and doesn't know what is going on. Oddly, he is siding with the gumps.

Anyway for the big WR the staff wants I like Reed over Camion. I see Camion as a chain mover and I feel we have enough of them. Reed looks like a more big play guy to me.

I think its pretty apparent AuTger24 is a douche.

I had a post yesterday about this, and I feel the same way. We need taller WRs.

I want a RiCardo Louis clone with the added "Catching Ability" aftermarket feature.

Everyone who gets so worked up about the number of stars a player has based on rankings should take a look at thie SDS article. Granted, I don't really think a lot of their posts are worth a damn, but this is decent and provides some good talking points.

In the last 10 years, a mere 287 players have emerged from high school as five-star recruits — the best of the best. That’s fewer than 30 players per season regardless of position.
By our best judgments, just 97 of those have lived up to the hype and become a star equal to expectations. That’s just 33.8 percent, or barely more than one in three.

Not this again...
No one has said the star ranking is perfect. But the likely-hood of a 5* making a significant impact in college is greater than that of a 4*, 3*, and 2*.

But it is why every school has 4 and 5 star bust, we just melt over our 4 and 5 star bust, but forget others.

And the most important stat that should concern us is every national champion in the last 17 years Had at least 3 out of 4 top 12 classes going into their natty year. All but 3 natty losers did as well. Oregon (2010 & 2014) and Vick Tech (1999). Rankings matter on the whole.

Because they're right.
Multiple sites confirmed what BOL said about Chidi. He's an academic risk. They backed off him for awhile. Chidi delaying his decision all but confirmed the fact that they backed off and recently started coming after him again. But since it's Bama we choose not to believe them.
And it was a rumor that he was a qualifying risk way before Bama backed off.
If there's something beyond the Chidi thing, then I haven't been involved in any of that
But I'm not going to turn this thread into an argument about it, so that's my last post on the subject

According to 247 we would take Ivey and Chidi, which is a surprise for me

People who use the line of "there are no 5* in the Super Bowl" have a problem understanding sample size.
