Ah, we had a little dust-up that one time. No hard feelings. We're good. I'm going in a different direction professionally, so that's why I don't post but now and again.

Iirc, if a commit is OVing at another school (like KJ is to bama), they list those guys as "soft verbals"... Kinda stupid but whatever.

It isn't even consistent. Look at Trent Thompson's profile; they list him as "committed" at Georgia with no possible mention of him being "soft" even though he's taking visits. Preston Williams? Same thing. Terry Godwin? Same thing.

Meanwhile they don't even show an AU logo under Kerryon despite the fact that the kid has been outright recruiting for AU all year, has visited a million times, and constantly reaffirms his commitment every chance he gets. What kind of shite logic is that? Preston Williams on the other hand has been straight up toying with his "commitment" to Tennessee for months, yet of course he's "Solid" lmfao.

Yep...free trip with a bunch of talent for him to recruit to UGA...

First rule of sales: You already have no in your pocket. (In other words, if you don't try to close the deal, you almost surely won't.)

Scout is a joke. They have moved their way below ESPN in recruiting.

They've been below ESPN since ESPN started recruiting 8 or 9 years ago.

To bad for UGA none of them have serious interest in UGA. Trent may just be there to Keep an eye on Godwin.

From someone last year, Thompson was never an issue pushing UGA even when he rooted for them in the '13 game. He was described as a "big quite teddy bear"

ETA: Also his coach was extremely pro AU during the process (no idea why) and accompanied him on previous visits. If he tags along I'd be shocked if he talked about UGA

I really believe Lanier would be upset about the stars they use in graphics because those are shite as well.

Click on his profile. It shows him committed.

I know that it shows him "Committed"; but they clearly label him as "Soft" on his profile for no apparent reason when there are about a dozen or more examples I can dig up of other committed players who are taking visits that all appear as straight "Committed" with "None" interest in other schools. They label Irvin as outright "Committed" and that kid is essentially 90% likely to flip his commitment this weekend. Preston Williams has had interviews where he's flat out stated less-than "100% commitment", including floating interest in several other schools, yet what is his status listed as? 100% committed with "None" interest in anyone else. Its a joke. You won't find a single interview of Kerryon's where he expresses anything other than 100% commitment to Auburn.

It also doesn't show him committed on the main Scout 300 rankings. So I get what your point is.

Holland and Irvin are the ones KN listed when asked who could commit this weekend. Irvin much more likely than Holland.

When asked to put a % on chances we land guys, KN put:
Cowart- 40%
Cece-30% and climbing maybe
Burt-51%
BECKNER-20%
Key-35%
Irvin-70%

I know how you guys like percentages
