Damn dude, calm down. Give it some thought before you have an emotional reaction.

Dude is 260lbs as a hs Jr. He is going to keep growing, lets say he adds 20lbs. At 280 he is either an oversized de who probably cannot pass rush ( you see how well those types have since this year for us) or an undersized dt who will probably get pancaked like his big brother.

That was a few years ago. White was great, but he might need a few lbs to play now. Then again, maybe not...

If AU wants this kid, it's disappointing to hear UAT is recruiting him harder. I don't mind that we are being honest with him on how we would like to use him but honestly things change and players move around if needed. If this us a highly valued and wanted recruit, for goodness sake RG go get him.

Basically means we don't get either him or the LB he goes to school wit . As far as big DEs, there are plenty of legit big DEs just having zero speed along the line is rough.

Don't understand at all how Ivey could even ponder for a second playing for that abortion of an offense down in Gainesville.

He loves Florida. While it does not happen as often as it used to some kids follow their heart. Also he fits in very well with what Florida did on the ground yesterday. Ivey is already a mauler of a run blocker.

They are in 3 man fronts more often than 4 man fronts though. Our base is a 4 man front. Also to your Reggie White reference, The Minister of Defense was the exception not the rule. Guys with his build are DTs much more often than DEs because they don't have the combination of power and speed the minister had.

It just seems that the legacy Auburn kids entertain Alabama offers much more so than Alabama legacies entertain Auburn offers. I find that very strange.

People were saying the same thing about Lawson after the 2012 season.

Seems like now whenever i watch Alabama, they are in nickel 4-2-5 the vast majority of the time.

4-2-5 Is pretty much where everyone is going to keep up with the speed.

It's because pressure. The Bama ones are told to go to Bama or pushed there from the day they ever play football. Bama fans already write them down as signed and they catch hell if they mention Auburn.

Auburn fans are more laid back about it and they can decide for themselves.

People think I am kidding when I say that being a Bammer is beaten into kids from birth versus being an Auburn fan is a choice that is made. This is a huge reason that Bama legacies are damn near locks if Bama will take them versus Auburn having to fight for their legacies.

Don't put any weight in the "who is recruiting me harder" comments. It changes week to week, and day to day with some. Follow the visits mainly, and at times you can decipher from an interview what a kid is thinking. But the kids who are getting lots of interviews also say many things just to get reactions from certain Fanbases.
