He's gone IMO the cb's are rolling in and the staff offered another cb after they said last week Bridges would likely be the only cb we take. Just makes since right now that he's flippin.

Grimes says Braden Smith is going to play early. Said he could be like Grob 2 years and done. 6'6 305 benching 625

Fwiw i'm changing my prediction on Francois from AU to FSU. I didn't like the tone of his latest interview. To me it sounds like he's really on the fence both schools are even right now. I think the hometown team will win out in a coin flip.

So are we all in for Slayton and this other guy now?

I hope Ruffin, Roberts, and Bessent can all live up to their hype sooner rather than later.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to have DF. But if we lose him and pull the trigger on Jackson, we will be glad we did in about 3 years. I think he is the perfect guy to have in the program right now, based on being in the 2015 class. With Queen and White in the same class or one class ahead, if we decide in a few years that things really do work better when we have a run-first guy back there, we will be thankful to have him.

No reports addressing this yet from AUR or AUC yet so don't know.

Roberts was signed as a safety but it's possible he ends up at corner with quality additions of Moncrief and Matthews at safety plus Rudy having a very good Spring at safet.

Gonna suck to lose Bridges. He is the perfect sized CB and I think would be our #1 corner day 1. Maybe we can hang on to him or flip him back if Ole Miss tanks again but these Mississippi kids are tough to get out of Mississippi.

On side note if we can land Ivey imagine Ivey and Smith as our book tackles or even crazier line Smith up at LG, and Ivey at LT and then run Roc left all day long

Respectfully disagree. 1. TQ is a much better runner on the read option than you give him credit for, even though he is like a pick up truck doing it. 2. If we miss on Dre I don't want to take a 2nd QB in this class because it will make it that much tougher to land a super elite athletic QB from the 2016 class.

Find it ironic that with as much success as we have had with Dual Threat QBs, we seem to be doing better with the pocket passers.

I agree. We have bigger needs to fill right now and Jackson is the model picture for the term "project".

Welp I guess I have pissed off Allie D somewhere along the way even though I made sure not to be overly critical of her, well in relation to harsher critics she has had anyway. She has me blocked on twitter.

She is so freaking dramatic on twitter. KN is really my favorite AU recruiting reporter now as he just reports what he hears and doesn't make a production of any news he gets

Agreed. Plus now that I see she has blocked me I get some enjoyment out of seeing him spank her e-behind in terms of getting the more accurate info out.

Slayton and Westry at CB. I believe we take two if we lose Bridges since we won't be as certain about development. With TB, we knew we had an SEC quality CB.

Who knows. I have taken subtle jabs on here and AUF plus we had that fiasco on this thread a while back about her looks that went on for pages. All I really said in that topic is she is average and I was one of the more tamer posts. There is a lot worse than being average.

NFL doesn't allow 2 years and done... you have to be a minimum 3 years out of high school to declare.

GRob was a redshirt year plus 2 playing LT.

I think that is what he meant. Redshirt, play 2 years, and gone.
