I guess Kai Locksley dropped way down on both list. I haven't heard his name mentioned in awhile for Auburn or FSU. He even got some CBs to Texas today. If Winston is gone this year it will be harder to sell the QB depth chart at Auburn.

The last two CBs on 247 for Deondre Francois are from Demetric Warren who has never CBd someone to Auburn (surprised he didn't CB to Bama) and the other was the Maryland 247 Insider which makes me think he has absolutely no connections to this

I don't see why Kai would know. I understand why he has interest but can't imagine he has any inside information to how Dre's trip is going

Not Kai Locksley, Maryland's writer. He probably knows Kai Locksley favors Florida State and will likely commit there given the chance. That leads him to believe what was posted before.

I agree with GC. The Maryland writer probably don't know jack chit about Dre. He's just probably piggy backing of everybody else. Only CB's worth paying attention to on Dre are Niebuhr, Josh Newberg, and Chris Nee. They've all had FSU picked for 2 months now. Obviously if there is a change in any of their picks then it's good for AU and would likely be made mid to late next week.

KN says Francois may not be a "slam dunk" for FSU and based on an interview I read today. Francois may not be getting the attention he's looking for from FSU.
Francois said in an interview today that there were hundred of players at FSU today and he didn't get the one on one time he was hoping for with Jimbo. He went on to say what he's really looking for is a school where the coaches care about you off the field, somewhere he feels at home with a family atmosphere.
I like our chances if we can get him here Sunday and show him some love.

As far as DEs go. Dontavious Walker and Marquavius Lewis are still high on our board.
Montavious Atkinson visited Tennessee today. His 4th visit to the Vols since March. (He Gone) He's also teammates with Dontavious Walker.
We may only take 1 CB if we can keep Tony Bridges. Staff feels he can start from Day 1. Still high on Darious Slayton though.
Top 2 LBs are still Holland and Mcbryde.
Staff is "cautiously optimistic" about Martez Ivy
KN also noted that Rodney G. may be working some Dline recruits behind the scenes.
John Burt and Kirk Merritt top targets at WR. Weird he didn't mention Christian Kirk. Kirk recently landed a cb to USC.

There's some positives in there for FSU sounds like he made some connections with some of the recruits and spent some time meeting the staff, but overall I got the vibe that he's looking for a different type of atmosphere

Yup, the only part that worries me is he's still there until tomorrow so the staff could shift focus and do some one on one time. Francois said there are tons of kids there though so hopefully the staff is stretched thin.

2016 4* DL recruit Marlon Davidson has transferred from Greenville to Carver to play with his best friend Lyndell "Mack" Wilson". The two plan on playing together at the next level. Marlon is the brother of former AU player Kenneth Carter. He is currently ranked the #68 overall prospect in the nation. He says he has a good relationship with Kirby Smart, but Tracy Rocker is recruiting him the hardest. He expects to get an AU offer this Saturday when he camps here.
