The dad didn't mention anything like that. When I talked to him he said he was really liking Tenn, but mainly because they were the first to offer. They were actually attending the UT/AU game the next day.
He did say he liked AU though and was hoping to get an offer soon and also mentioned they had visited UGA.
Dad seemed like a great guy, very friendly, was sharing his food with my little 2 year old, really seemed proud of his boy. Hopefully he will steer him in the right direction.

Tavarus McFadden, teammate of Torrance Gibson and also a 5* corner/safety prospect, says that he is really liking Auburn and we'll get a visit from him at some point.
Snelson, a top247 2016 WR, is visiting this weekend for A-day. He's a teammate of Gibson and McFadden as well.

FWIW a source just told AUC that UGA is still playing catch up even after offering Colbert. His recruitment is still likely to drag out though.
