I don't know what's going on but Johnny Jones has that team playing dysfunctional basketball. I understand sometimes it takes a little while for new pieces to gel but there's no excuse losing to College of Charleston with the number 1 overall draft pick on your team

It seems that Granger isn't making nearly the same amount of mistakes as he was last year...at least his mistakes aren't as noticeable.
Would you say this is mostly because he's being used in a more appropriate role?

A combo of being used correctly and learning how Pearl wants him to play.

3Law, you and your obsession with Jack Purchase is always crazy to me. I don't think Purchase would see more than 5-10 mpg this year
We need LSU to win and do well though. I see them as a top 50 RPI win and them losing all these games really kills that idea

I think they still will be. Things like that are just going to happen to any JJ coached team. When they are off offensively they don't play the type of defense needed to grind out any wins.

Lang does an excellent job of using his length to make up for his lack of foot speed. He also has the want to play defense which is more important than quickness. See Canty for example.

As last year progressed, his coordination on the floor seemed to improve which helped with the 'foot speed.' Not saying he is some elite agility player, but foot speed isn't a liability unless he has Lebron in front of him.
