Don't be a pessimist. That's really underplaying the talent we have. An injury to Spencer or Bowers, or even Harris would mean the end though.

I just want to make it. I don't care what seed we are. Those extra practices are the most valuable thing we can get this season.

If we get Purifoy on Dec 15, we can be a tournament team if we can not be a slopfest.
If Bowers can learn to make a layup and play consistently + Purifoy, we can be real good.

I'm glad we won and I think we have a high potential especially if we can get Purifoy cleared before SEC play. All in all we're moving in the right direction.

The rumor about Purifoy is that NCAA will clear him based on fall semester grades. Those are finalized December 15 from what Rig said

I think when it comes to all around basketball talent he is the best on the team. There are guys that do things individually better than him but no one is as complete of a player as him. I think he is a year or so away from being All-SEC good but he has the upside to be one of the best in the SEC

I definitely don't think his the solution to all our woes & even with him we are probably just a hopeful bubble team. I think he still has a lot of development to do before he reaches that All-SEC calibre so ya definitely don't expect us to all of a sudden be top class of the SEC with him back
Finally got to watch last night's game. Very frustrated with half court offense. Basically we resort to launching 3s & that kills us. Also we have lost our double digit 1st half lead in all 3 games. We don't finish halves well. A lot to like with our intensity in the 2nd half on defense but until we can consistently play defense for 40 minutes & have some sort of offensive rhythm as well we still have long way to go to compete with top teams

Jeremy Johnson isn't playing basketball. I know that and have zero expectations.
I was just curious, just how good was he at BBall? If he were to join the team today and practice then RS next year, would Johnson even earn minutes?

Hopefully this rumor has some legs. With Purifoy, we could reasonably go 2-1 in Hawaii which would be a huge boost
