It's pretty good, but its a lower quality knock off of El Chico's old style cheese dip.

No one has fought it yet, but supposedly Blackie Donnelly the owner of Mexico Chiquito started selling it in Dogtown in 1935. Donnelly and his wife were from the Texas/Mexico border.

That's the legend at least. Nick Rogers, a lawyer around here did a slow-moving documentary about the subject and that's what he came up with. (Also it has bad sound and is pretty amateur. I haven't been able to watch it all without getting frustrated, but it's online. You can google.) What I hear is that the video went viral and attracted attention from Kraft and Rotel, and they gave him some seed money to start the festival here.

Anyway, take all that with a grain of salt, but cheese dip is pretty much king here. I'm sure that when the dark age is ushered in and the Central Arkansas area falls in to chaos, cheese dip will be the currency of the new order. And yes, we will still host two football games a year.

Do you know that guy? Does he still waste his money on film projects? Can I hit him up for bucks?

Thanks for answering my questions.
