The last thing we need on this board is a grandma figure wagging her finger. You got trolled by Dale, deal with it and move on.

First of all, Stonehog, contrary to popular belief, I'm far from a grandma. My barely 14 yr. old son is nowhere near to being a father, just an fyi.

Secondly, Stonehog, I understand that you're a perpetual a-hole, which apparently clouds your comprehension ability, because evidently, you missed my point entirely. I don't care if Dale or whomever else is trolling or is serious. That isn't the point. The point is this is one of the most fricked up fanbases on this board bc of "fans" like you & a few others. You make the Tiger Rant folks look like the Brady Bunch. At least they can have civil legitimate discussions among themselves & know when to shelve the bullshite negativity & pull together to root for their team. THAT is the point of my post since you obviously missed it. ... Zero fricks are given by me as to whether you "like" me or not, which I find to be one of the most incredibly amusing things I've seen here since you don't know me & I don't know you. My only point was that this should be a fun, exciting time for Hog fans, and to table the bullshite & come together as a fanbase who gives a shite about the Hogs, the players, which is the common denominator here. ... And if you don't like my posts, don't read them. ... And you can just frick right off.

I've never noticed your being negative. ... And there is a vast difference in discussing differing opinions legitimately, as normal people do, and being complete assholes just for the sake of it. It's just ludicrous to me that at this specific point in time, which should be a joyous one, that some are being exceptionally negative it seems for absolutely no reason. If some cannot be happy about our baseball team's accomplishment, & insist on being pricks, I just don't know ... So, perhaps I'll just celebrate with irl friends & not on this board. There are too many real life issues to be concerned about that when a nice surprise such as this occurs, our fans should take joy in it, imo, not bitch, moan, & argue about it.

No.

I don't think the man deserves praise for taking one of the top supported programs in the country a decade plus without a championship of any kind.

I don't think winning the SEC once with an inherited roster is worthy of a lifetime contract.

In short, I don't celebrate mediocrity. Maybe you get attaboy's and raises for meeting the bare minimum of expectations in your career, but I doubt it.

You need to enjoy the coming week, because afterwards the offense will be heading to the north and DVH will be back to getting bounced from the tourney in the regional, if he even gets there, per usual.

The fans deserve a better return for their investment.

Dale, you keep talking about the coach. How about the players who actually PLAYED & won their way into the CWS? Those are the ones I'm referring to who need & deserve our support - the kids who are going to play in the biggest games of their college careers. You never seem to mention them. I'm not talking about praising the coach; I'm talking about backing the players. The coaching arguing bullshite can take a backseat for the moment, imo.

Did you think this team would go to the CWS after the way they started the season?I sure didn't.

Great coaching job by Van Horn and his staff.I don't want our sports programs to be on a Tennessee level...

Do you think they have any shot at getting back next year with the weak recruiting class in the works?

I sure don't.

So you fear failure and in return embrace the mediocrity. Some aspire to heights beyond mediocrity. You stronghorns make me sick.

How far did Arkansas make it after being ranked #1 the majority of the season?

DVH does fine where there is little expectations, crumbles under pressure when expectations are present.

Sounds like another coach we had who went 0fer a decade in championships and had his followers lapping up the mediocrity being served.

Maybe in his fantasies, but nowhere else. He's got a super tight leash with chaperones anywhere he goes & a "team" of moms with eyes in the back of their heads & passwords to all electronics & social media. We know everything, but the kids don't know we do. ... Hell, he's so shy around girls right now, he probably wouldn't even kiss one yet.
