Capital Hotel.

When I have to stay in Little Rock without the family, this is where I stay.

If I have the family we're usually there for baseball so we're someplace with a pool, breakfast, and close to the fields.

went to Twin Peaks maybe 2 weeks ago up there.. Was disappointed, the talent was lacking compared to The others I've been too. That being said its still decent.

Twin Peaks in KC was prob the best one I've been too, granted I also ended up with a 150/160$ bill and a waitress that ended up going top golfing with me ??

Ya, have been to a few others in texas and it doesn't compare but you have to be realistic about what you are going to get

Just having a place close to where I stay sometimes with that many tvs is nice.

While Embassy is good for your 9 am meeting, Uber downtown to check out what LR has to offer. It's like $10. Hit up Samantha's Tap Room, Lost 40, or South on Main for good local spots. President Clinton is the bar seen and has severa restaurants depending on what you want.

If you want to stay out west, go eat at The Pantry. Great German/Czech food. Don't go to West End unless you just want to play pool and chain smoke.

I stayed in W. LR off Markham last weekend.

I enjoyed the Kebab House on Markham, and the all-you-can eat sushi buffet at Tokyo House.

Downtown LR is worth checking out. There's some cool places there.

Also nearby in WLR would be Big Orange or Local Lime, which are local burger/Mexican places both owned by the same restaurant group. They are just further down the road on chenal in the promenade.

Yup. If you stay in West LR, do Big Orange or Local Lime. Same folks as Lost 40, Zazas and Heights Taco and Tamale (my current favorite joint).

I love Big Orange, but driving to West Little Rock from downtown is fricking awful, so I rarely go when I'm down there.

I stayed at The Marriott this week, and my room was very nice. The location is directly across the street from The Capital Hotel. It's been years since I stayed at the Capital, but it's a world class hotel with a great bar. The Marriott is probably much more modern though. If you are bringing a date or your wife, she would be more impressed with The Capital. If it's a guys weekend, save some cash and stay at The Marriott. You can always cross the street to hit The Capital Bar.
