Downtown?

Top Golf would undoubtedly build their facility in Bentonville or Rogers to appeal to Walmart and their clients if they ever came to NWA.

I would honestly like another decent live music venue other than George's. The ownership brings in the same acts every year and it's been very old. I honestly couldn't ever live in Fayetteville post graduation specifically for that. Walmart AMP only beings in "family approved acts" and I don't know if it's complacency from being the only competition in town or just poor management but George's lineup is literally 75% identical every year. It's like they don't realize that over the past 10 years the university is home to 10,000 extra out of state kids than it was before. So much potential for a more modern club to take off with the students and youth.

Top Golf

Not happening in Fayetteville.

Top Golf, if it happens, will go to an area with young professionals, executives, and me in Benton County.

People who smash beer cans on their forehead and people who like indie movies are not the right demographics for Top Golf.

Nashville is JUST now getting one.

NWA is a long, long ways off.

For lazy drunk stoners like me, that would be nice because my group of friends and I never go west on Dickson past Hoghaus because you have to walk up the hill.

Amen to that. The hill is not your friend after a night of drinking.

Trader Joe's (not that I've ever been to one).

And maybe not downtown but wherever an IKEA.

Trader Joe's isnt all that great any more, they are owned by the same parent company as Aldi and the last few times I've been to one it wasn't nearly as good as I remembered. Our grocery options have improved greatly in the last decade.

Publix is a Florida chain with only a few locations outside the state across the south east.

I always envisioned a german beergarden right there on the corner. Dog friendly, lots of pub tables and benches. Serve sausage platters and dips. Occasional live music but nothing fancy. There's nothing other than Kingfish with a decent outdoor atmosphere.

Beer Gardens in arkansas suck because the christians won't let you carry your drink with you.

Probably a shopping mall although I'm not sure where you would put it.

Also a light rail system as discussed in another thread or two which would go throughout NWA. I used the one in SLC this past summer and it sure was nice.
