It appears Sam has given complete control to Bobby as far as offense is concerned with the recent WR coach announcement.

Is he going to relinquish game management too? That might help. Although I'm glad he's gonna let petrino do his job.

He should. This will be his last one. Running backs are expendable in the pros. That’s why I’ve been saying if I was a RB, I’d switch to slot receiver, linebacker, safety/corner

All players should be doing this if they allow it. What they end up doing with it is a different story

Pretty much, that’s how teams handcuff themselves.

Your two lines and your quarterback should be the only ones with big money deals.

You should then get playmaking secondary, linebackers, corners and safeties..

Then wide receivers unless they’ve proven to be game changers, then you pay them considerably well.

Running backs, if you have a decent line, should be making the least.

All that is if you want a sustainable good team. Always people you should break the bank for, but none of them are running backs.

Only difference I have is I would put WR in that 2nd tier, probably above corners

You watch our games this year? Yeah, we need a true RB. It’s a one year investment

FIFY

In just one year Rocket went from being the 2nd leading rusher in the SEC to averaging 3 yards a carry and being a complete nonfactor.

He rushed for more yards against Ole Miss in 2022 than he did for the entire season in 2023.

It’s not a back problem. It’s a line problem.

I mean if he wanted to coach the line I'm fine with that. I think it's better suited to his skills than game management

The absolute worst thing Arkansas could do.

Lane understands positional value and a RB with all those carries average 5 ypc isn't where smart money is spent.

Build a great team with two offensive tackles, a quarterback, two pass rushers, two corners, and figure out the rest.
