Welcome to basketball.

The sport where immediate and extended family have latched onto the back of a player to make their dreams come true with dat NBA money.

Pathetic. I mean i've known of family/friends latching on like leeches but this just seems insane.

They go there because the belief is spread starting in AAU ball that these guys are being drafted high because of Cal.

Well 4 of Cal's players were drafted before the SEC POY Bobby Portis so maybe they arent wrong.

I'm telling ya they're gonna ride that pony for all it's worth.

Marcus wants exposure more than anything, the ACC is where you go for exposure in basketball.

You mean 4 of Cal's players were drafted at slots similar to where they were projected out of HS if they had been eligible.

If Cal was truly making his player better and had their best interests in mind, like is said on the circuit, he wouldn't force players to choose between to either go into the draft before they are ready or go to a different school like he has done several times...

I dont really give a shite about what Cal does or says but this doesnt really matter as it pertains to Monk since he'll be a one and done anywhere.

Same thing was said about Archie, didn't matter he was one and done anyway, he's that good...

Yeah, he was one and done because Cal told him he couldn't come back...

Archie was a 1st round pick and is now a millionaire. I get that you hate Cal but find a better example of a failure. Monk has had his eyes on the NBA since middle school. It's EXTREMELY unlikely that he even entertains the possibility of staying 2 years wherever he goes.
