DVH said Murphy would pitch against KState...probably see how he does there and make a decision.
If Murphy can fill the Sunday roll and we can use Alberius, Chadwick, Cronnin, Reidl, and a mix of Taco here or there on the other days in relief this team will be better off in the long run IMO. I just think Loseke, and Kopps walk too many batters. Taco walks too many as well, but I added him just because of experience.

Like I said in my earlier reply ArHog...I would be on your end of the bitch fest if it were a 4-0 or worse game. At 2-0, the bunt single gets the tying run to the plate in the 7th inning. I can't fault their coach for that. He was just trying to win the game.

I think we are done here. This is like condemning someone for kicking a field goal when they are down by ten.
Memphis made the very best call they could make in a game where they had diddly doo da going on offense but were still in striking range.

If this were the majors where they play 162 games I could see having a problem with it but in college every game matters. I cringed when they did it but I would have wanted us to if it gave us a shot to win

Nothing wrong with bunting the tying run to the plate in a 2-0 game. Yeah it sucks it broke up the no-hitter but it was perfectly fine strategically. Nothing to be sour about.
