Only three midweek games left. Two with Memphis next week then Kansas State at Kauffman on the 25th.
One of Murphy, Loseke, Rogers maybe even Lee needs to consistently throw strikes and give us 3 or so innings. That was the Fant role many Sunday's until his last year. Eat a few innings and keep us in the game.
This team would be national seed good with Campbell and McKinney.

I'm really starting to be annoyed by Shaddy. He's just a liability in the field and now hitting below .300 at the plate.

He's going to have to be closer if we bring Chadwick in earlier for high leverage situations.

It's college baseball, you don't need a closer, just a solid arm that can get outs.

Well the good thing is it's alot easier to figure out pitching than it is hitting. You can develop a pitcher or 2 over the course of the seaon. You either hit well or you can't and this team is dangerous 1-9 which is deadly in college baseball

Yeah the walks are killing us. We can't put guys on base for free. We're still 3rd in the sec defensively though so I don't think the errors are a major issue it just seems that way because of the past 2 weekends. Riggers will figure his shite out and be back to form come mid may

The errors are not killing us. It's the errors in critical situations that are.

Yea they swept Tennessee in Starkville, Ole Miss in Oxford, 2/3 from Kentucky in Starkville and go for sweep of South Carolina tomorrow in Columbia.

Really big series this weekend on the road at Auburn. Really need to take 2/3 on the road. Auburn has good pitching, but do not rank in the top half of the league in most hitting categories in league play. Kind of weird.
