ANd get us away from this evil meth addiction

I'd way rather this state have a weed problem than a meth and painkillers problem, like we have right now.

The problem with keeping MJ a "drug" is that it gets lumped in with the truly terrible stuff. Kids try "illegal" weed and think "all the drug free stuff is bullshite".

Weed is its own thing. It can be a useful painkiller. It isn't any worse than drinking, and everyday weed use is a lot better on your body than everyday drinking and everyday painkiller use.

And I don't even smoke weed, probably wouldn't try to get my hands on it via prescriptions, ever.

But if I get cancer or chronic disease, I'd like to have the option.

Agree

I mean how many stories do you hear of people getting high off of weed and going out to rob a gas station or assault someone?

If anything weed makes people more introverted and less confrontational.
Hell if anything maybe making weed more available will help counteract the effects of drugs like meth to make people less unpredictable.

Ending Cannabis prohibition and creating a legal marketplace like Colorado has is the boon to hold off the next economic crisis and put a crimp in the Mexican and South American cartels operations.

Our state just has a bunch of lap dogs running it while trying to be the next Bill Clinton but not having the balls or charisma to pull it off.

I've been hit twice this year by someone on their phone in my vehicle. Once last year by someone on their phone while crossing the street. Cell phones are definitely a problem.

It was right wing republicans that were all chicken little over Colorado legalization, forecasting all kinds of problems with it such as increased crime, car accidents, general mayhem, etc.

Doesn't look like any of that has proven to be true so far.

Must have been the same group of wingnuts warning us that electing Bill as president in 1992 would be an end to private gun ownership in this country.

Sorry I'm experiencing right wing propaganda overload right now.

Sometimes I hope Trump will win just so I don't have to listen to 4 years of 40% of the country exaggerating and making up any and every misstep or bad news that happens to this country in order to blame it on Clinton and rant on about how much better Trump would have been. It's coming.

But then I'm not sure that any of us would have literally survived his presidency, so just have to deal with it. I'll certainly stay away from the poli board.

On the bright side, finals polls have Prop64 in Cali ahead by 17 percentage points. So that is a lock to pass to no surprise. I still think Cali is the big fish that gets things really going elsewhere. Going to be soooo much $$$$.
