And Nebraska and Notre Dame used to be powerhouses... What's your point?

My point is...we are totally irrelevant as a football program.

Yep, other than a three year period with Bobby P, it's been like that since the late 80s

We've had worse. Y'all aren't bad, just neither of our teams are very good and we both need new coaches

The funny thing is that I thought we'd go 8-4 this year but still be 1-2 at this point in the season.

It is just sickening to keep looking like shite, the exact same way for 5 years.

I'm in a somewhat similar boat. I predicted 7-5 and that we'd lose to both TCU and A&M. Still doesn't excuse what we've seen thus far in that TCU was a terrible effort, followed by yet another bed shitting against A&M.

I predicted 7-5 as well.
Just can't find 6 more wins on our schedule

USCe is definitely a winnable game. They lost their best player in Samuel, got beaten up by Kentucky last week and should have lost to La. Tech this weekend. We "should" win that game, which didn't look all that winnable 2 weeks ago.

Mizzou is butt, Ole Miss is coming off the rails, and we should (there's that word again) beat the two remaining OOC opponents. That's 6 wins provided it happens like that.

LSU looks less formidable than they did to start the season, but that game is on Death Valley so who knows. Auburn's offense is complete shite but their defense is stout, Gustav owns Bert, and 56-3 will probably be lingering in everyone's minds.

Outside of Bama, quite literally every game is both winnable and loseable from here on out. This is about as unpredictable as the SEC has been post-1992 expansion.

We could finish with a bowl game, we could finish with one of the most disappointing seasons since... well... "Smile". The defense is playing better, as hard as that is to believe, but we are still seriously out manned there. The offense showed signs of life despite Allen having another subpar game.

Its doable to go bowling this year. Win our two OOC games against doormats. Beat Missou. That gets us to 4 wins in the season. Surely with the rest of the West, other then Bama, all being shaky we can find two more games.

I predicted 8 wins this year, thinking that with the West looking to be down this was going to be the year that Bert gets over the 7 regular season wins hump. Barring a miracle finish that seems unlikely.
