BA is also 0-9 in close games. Coincidence?

CBB inherited BA from PB. Lets reserve judgement until 4 star RT from CA or 4 star TS from AR gets a spin.

Maybe CBB is a better recruiter of QBs than BP and needs time to get his recruits developed and into the line up.

Or maybe since CBB is such a nice coach his teams aren't prepared for clutch situations.

He's the right man for the job is we never wanna win shite? What's his motherfricking record in games games settled by less than 10 motherfricking points.

You gotta be shitting me. This fat frick can't even win games we mfing have WON. If we pull this shite out in overtime, it'll be despite his fatass and BA stupid arse, not because. Anybody that thinks this fat frick is the right choice is off in the head and a complete idiot.

Ok...I feel better now.

Haha all you fools that got excited are idiots. I stopped in for a beer at a local pizza joint, saw us up 8 in the 4th with the ball....almost got excited then remembered Bert was our coach got my pizza and left. 0 - 10 now in close games, it's not a fluke.

I didn't get excited. Read the game thread. We called it. fricking EXACTLY. It's just hard to keep see the nightmare replaying.

He's the right man for the job if you enjoy winning 6 - 8 games a year and not having a lot of off field problems. If you want more than that tough shite, he's 0-9 in close games for a reason.

Need to bump my post to update it to 0-10. Not like we were up 8 with the ball in the 4th or anything.

I think he can build a solid program so we can bring in a good coach to win with.

This.

I keep telling myself that the silver lining is that our next coach should take over a pretty talented roster with a lot of guys who went through the redshirt program.

one problem with this, Long would hire a spread coach and we would start completely over again..

Meh, I don't buy that, especially if it's a spread-to-run coach. Gary Andersen took Bert's foundation at Wisconsin and won 19 games in 2 years.

Plus, we actually have a decent crop of receivers, so I'm not buying that the transition to a pass-oriented offense would be painful.

Our transition from Nutt to Petrino was painful because Nutt's last few classes were horrendous and he pretty much stopped recruiting in 2007, which forced Petrino to have to play a ton of true freshmen in 2008.

He damn sure wasn't sweating the possibility of no bowl game.
