Revisiting the schedule: are we still a 7-6/7-5 team or could we be better?

I think looking at schedule A&M is winnable but ole miss is a lot tougher. I’d feel confident about LSU if it wasn’t In Death Valley but we will definitely have the coaching edge in that game. I think our floor now is 7-5 but I could see us going 8-4 as well. 9-3 would be tough with pretty much 2 automatic losses penciled in but this could still be our best season in a decade

God ESPN’s shite is so dumb. Why on gods green earth would you think we are more likely to beat LSU on the road than a garbage auburn team at home.

They don't actually watch the games. They just base their arguments on name recognition, win/loss record, and like one random stat such as time of possession.

They don't have time or ability to properly analyze teams and their audience DGAF anyway.

I can't believe it but I actually agree. We might damn well win 9 this year. I don't think we'll be underdogs in any remaining home games this year and LSU looks like a trainwreck.

I had us pegged for 7-5 before the season.

I really hate their stupid win percentage on the gamecasts, too.

I will say we don't actually know anything about Auburn yet. They played two trash opponents, but put them away very, very convincingly. 60–10 and 62–0 is nothing to laugh at, regardless of the competition. We'll know a lot more about them after their Penn State game, but as it stands, they look competent at the very least.

If the passing game gets better then Arkansas could finish 7-9 in the regular season. No way they finish 5-7.

Texas isn't the number 15 team in the nation but they aren't going to finish 4-8.

I think we are a 7-5 team. It’s week 2 so I am still not super sold but I think we derp a game and win 6.

I expected us to go 4-8 or 5-7 this season. If we stay healthy then I would think 6-6 or 7-5 is realistic.

If we beat Aggy then I'll revisit prediction again. I think we are good enough to beat everybody on our schedule except Bama and UGA. That doesn't mean I think we will beat everybody else. At least we should feel good about our chances in all those other games.

Thats where I'm at, but I'm going to remain on the side of optimism. The only real wild cards for me are A&M and LSU. Both of those teams have real issues right now.

I thought 6-6 was the ceiling and still stand by that. If Jefferson gets better at going through his progressions and throwing the ball, I can see 7 wins.
The kid is green but the potential is there.

Texass isn't SEC ready. We played lights out.

I don't believe you are predicting losses here, right? You are saying, They are such a mess that we have a good chance...

I think we finish 8-4 by dropping one of Auburn or A&M, losing to UGA, OM, and Bama. The OM game is close to a toss up until we know more, that could change to a W

Why all the love for Ole Miss? We will push them off the field. Odom won’t be fooled by Joey.

If we lost to Texas then 4-8/5-7 is realistic but we have too much talent to win just one SEC game.
