Yep.
I remember in the offseason and fall camp I kept reading about how JaMichael Winston was positioning himself as the leader on defense and talking about it in the media. My first thoughts were "wait, he's never done shite here" and "you can't just tell people you're a leader."

Lack of discipline, lack of ability, lack of preparation, lack of leadership, lack of coaching. I could go on but I don't care anymore...

he makes some good points.
we should all be hoping bert gets this thing turned around. if he doesn't, we gotta wait for the next coach to get his players in

You're a massive idiot if you think firing a coach at a time like this is a good idea. You really think there's a coach out there (that we could actually get) that could turn this team around right now? You can't coach how not to get injured or break bones. Turns out we miss JWill worse than anybody could've imagined, although R. Williams looked damn good tonight and AC seemed to play a hell of a lot harder tonight.
I just don't see a different coach being able to really change much of anything. Our recruiting has pretty much always been the same regardless of coach, and you could even say we're pulling better classes right now than in the last 20+ years. I'm not sure what's going on with the team other than a freak strain of injuries, but where do you go from here?

I don't know how he could take blame for them. Broken bones are broken bones, and that's like 90% of the injuries right now

Do we need to send milk?
Watching ole miss and bama- bama just had two sacks in a row. Have we had a sack this season?

Shitty field turf in Fayettenam, move all games to LR. (only one broken bone there)

No defensive line pressure
No sense of urgency
Penalties at bad times
Can't tackle in space
QB will never make a play for you
Don't take any shots downfield
O and D are too vanilla

I don't know that we have to wait for a coach to get his players in. Kevin Sumlin made a lot of hay with Mike Sherman recruits at A&M. Ditto for Nutt at Ole Miss, and Muschamp at Florida.
Plus, it's easier to go from a run-heavy offense to a spread than vice versa. The reason we were terrible in 2008 was because we had no depth and no talent because Nutt has essentially quit recruiting, so we had to over-rely on freshmen.
I'm so out on Bert right it's not funny, but he has laid a pretty good foundation for the next guy if he ends up leaving.

I agree. The tackling is absolutely a joke. Allen would be ok if we had a run game. The offensive line play is atrocious, sure they can make a wall to pass block but have jack for lateral movement to run block. The worst part is we have no fundamentals at all anymore. Bentonville looked more squared away this weekend.
Not sure what exactly went wrong with this team. I truly thought we had a 7-9 win team, but now I'll be thankful if we can take down an SEC team or two. I'm honestly baffled as hell...

I think the offense can be fixed.
The middle of the defense is fricked. Hand it to TT they had our number. Spread the defense out and attack those weak arse linebackers.
The defense is currently built more for playing teams that built like us.
Against spread teams we would be better off to pull the linebackers and let backup safeties or corners take their place.
Bert can't play the game for them. He pissed me off when he started kicking field goals when the defense had not been able slow tech all night. There was no sense of urgency in the 4th, BA was still taking the play clock down to 10 seconds.
It looked like we were playing to not get blown out, instead of playing to win!

It's clear.
Tyson needs to do a ritual sacrifice of one entire shipment of chickens. Paying the buyout won't work.
This shite is spiritual......

Usually inside of ten seconds and quite a few times inside three. Tech trying to run out the clock was snapping the ball faster then we were down two scores in the 4th. Baffling call.

1. We think weight room accomplishments matter.
2. Our HC is a functional drunk.
3. There isn't an SEC caliber LB on campus.
4. Our players follow the HC example and bluster before doing anything of substance.
5. We didn't think we needed two a days. Now injuries pile up and we look totally unprepared for 2nd tier teams.
6. Everyone wants a piece of us because our coach is a blowhard.
7. We can't run the ball. Our o-line isn't very good. Just big. See #1.

All of this.
Also, can we please make a PSA to all TV commentating teams to please stop bloviating about the size of our O-line? They're the biggest O-line in football yet they can't push around MAC and bottom tier Big 12 teams.
