DVH has taken his team to Omaha 33% of the time while playing in a conference that is without question, the best in college baseball.

CMA has taken his team to the NCAA tournament 25% of the time while playing in the worst power five conference in college basketball.

No one in their right mind can believe that it's more difficult, particularly in the SEC, to simply make the NCAA tournament in basketball than it is to make it to Omaha in baseball.

Mike was only brought in to the conversation by others to tear down to build DVH up.

The fact they have to resort to this tactic says all there is to say about their argument because they obviously can't argue that DVH doesn't underachieve 2/3s of the time given the resources given for his disposal.

This reminds me of a couple other mediocre coaches we had in a different sports, they too saw the pinnacle of their success with a roster of largely inherited players and recruits and mediocrity was to be celebrated after that.

I looked under, over, and in the middle of my trifocals trying to get that response in focus.

Mike was brought up because you're an unapologetic fan. He can do no wrong. No one has even suggested he be FIRED, and you come rushing to his aid. He has had marginal success thus far in his stint at Arkansas.

FOR COMPARISON'S SAKE, and to point out your hypocrisy on what constitutes good coaching, I brought up DVH. You can't possibly have it both ways. Either a "sweet 16" is good enough for DVH & MA, or it's not good enough for both of them. Period.

edit: Honestly, it's becoming more and more obvious that you're friends with or related to someone in the program. That's great. I wish I had that access. But it clouds your judgement quite obviously.
