Better coaches have been fired for far less mediocrity while at Arkansas.

DVH is lucky its just baseball.

I'd rather see championships.

I won't be seeing them with DVH.

How many championships do you imagine Cousin Mike will bring us?

I'm sure everyone who matters will be fine with 1 SEC championship in 12 years, like DVH has thus far, except he didn't inherit a team capable of achieving such results like DVH did.

It will be fine just as long as Mike makes a post season tournament every year and wins a few games in it every few years.

Yes, DVH's level of achievement is vast.

I don't recall anyone making that claim. It's entirely comparable to Mike Anderson.

Anderson coaches a sport that 175 programs actually try at, another 50 give an honest effort.

DVH coaches a sport that 50 teams give an honest effort, 30 actually try at, and several power 5 conference schools do not even bother with having a team in, yet he is to be applauded for finishing in the top 60, but never competing for a title.

Yes, completely comparable.

If a football or basketball coach delivered DVH like results for the investment given, they too would be fired just like every other one before them who did the same.

But YAY! for making the equivalent of a sweet 16 in basketball or the citrus bowl in football.

Build the statues.

Congrats on the run. What a solid second half of your season. Good luck in Omaha.

We were discussing baseball powers the other night at my house and what Arkansas should do every year. Bare minimum Arkansas should be playing in a super every year.
