Are there any Lance Leipold types in basketball currently?

If so, that's who I want.

Quit dicking around w/ floozies and Sallies and go get a guy that knows how to win at a high level and has proven he can sustain and manage a program at a winning clip.

Do you want to go young up and comer, NBA ties, or from established program?

Up and Comers:
Cameron Dollar
Mark Pope
King Rice

Established:
Kelvin Sampson
Dan Muller

NBA:
I do not know of any off the top of my head right now

Is that a serious list or trolling....can't even tell with some people.

somewhat serious....
to me Beard could just be a hot name that can't sustain success like Heath..... Pearl is slime but he can recruit which is what we have been lacking....
top 3 are legit and there's probably no way we get any of those 3 at this point and time.

I don't see how we could currently pull any of those except Beard.

Kaleb Canales is a very highly regarded young assistant with the Dallas Mavs. I would assume he is the heir apparent to Rick Carlisle. But Rick just signed an extension this year so Canales is back to waiting.

Of course, he'd probably view our situation as some sort of suicide.

At this point Nova is a better job. We have fallen very far in a short amount of time.

What about Mark Few?

Few is solid.... but like every other big name I doubt we could draw him at this point. Gonna take big $$ to get someone who can fix this mess now.

If you give Mike another year and he doesn't achieve anything but he does a decent job recruiting I could see where we draw someone up and coming

Gruden
Jackson
Fish
Calipari
Jesus
Richardson

In any order.

ETA: sorry for bringing my antics the UofA board. I thought Pearl would be a good hire before I ever read it here. Waaay better fit than fuggin Auburn, IMO.

We're not getting guys from the West Coast or the East Coast.

Give it up.

NWA is nice but those type of guys aren't coming to our weird little town on the hill.

Gotta get someone from the South or the Midwest.
