I have a soft spot for the Delta (got folks in and around Jackson county) and sites south of LR.

But LR's got a ballin' bike trail

and Pinnacle's no slouch

the OG amphitheater

Easily the cleanest, most comfortable, and not at all ghetto stadium in the land

LR

I will offer a rebuttal to each and every picture you posted except for the first one because pigs are fun.

2. Those roads looks slippery. 2/10 do not want.
3. Bikes are loud. Can't sleep during BBB. Keep it.
4. Christmas lights with colors are gross. If they ain't white, they ain't right.
5. The middle building looks like a blinking Eye of Sauron. Sorry, but I am not interested in living in Mordor. Must be why property values are higher in tRock (south of 630 does not count in this calculation because it does not fit my narrative.)
6. Travs>Naturals.
7. Those rocks in the foreground look like they would hurt my footsies when I try to walk into the water.
8. That bridge looks spooky. Big Dam Bridge > Spooky Murder Bridge.
9. I don't want to use a germy old phone to order my food. Whole Hog/Sim's/McClard's > Penguin Ed's/Sassy's
10. I will concede that NWA needed to ask for an awesome tunnel to allow itself access to the cultural utopia of Central Arkansas.
11. We have one just like it in Hot Springs and you don't have to drive around and get lost in some hippy dippy mountain town to get there.
12. Bars on trains > trains near bars.
13. Powerhouse sucks buttholes.
14. Lost 40>Fossil Cove. Only advantage is proximity to Bottoms Up.
15. Central Arkansas also has buildings that rise above the tree lines.

Also, we have Oaklawn, more presidential libraries, better golf, and better food. Crime is so high in Little Rock because all you NWAers come down here to try and steal our deserved glory.

tRock: 18
NWA: 1

I am about as snobbishly pro-NWA as one can be...

That being said, I think the LR food scene is currently kicking our butts. That may stop with all the development Bentonville has going on, but they've got just a ton of stuff happening in food down in the capitol.

We need to talk here about something dear to my heart.

What's up with BBQ in NWA? I don't like Penguin Ed's and I feel like every other place is mediocre. What's up with that? I need a report. If there's been a change (Haven't been to NWA but once in the last several years), let me know so I can come visit and enjoy myself.

Fayetteville must find a way to bury those high voltage lines that cross Dickson. When they upgraded them several years ago, it really took away from the view in both directions.

Unfortunately, I still think that Whole Hog has the best Q up here. Lucky Luke's has an awesome sandwich called the Mennecke that is pretty awesome. There's a place out on Hwy 16 called the BBQ Place that is really good but I don't get out there enough. There's a new place in the Yacht Club that only smokes on the weekends that I haven't tried out yet, but that's supposed to be good.

I actually like Ed's as a place to eat, but the Q isn't great and the ribs (which they don't remove the membranes from) are an insult.

I don't think any of it holds up to Craig's, which is sort of my Arkansas Gold Standard.

Speaking of bbq- fat daddy's here in the amazing Russ Vegas has a special on thursday's that is a pulled pork or rib meat, cheese potatoes, slaw, baked beans all wrapped in a tortilla and drizzled with cheese dip. Yes, it's horrible for you probably but I can make 2 meals of it easily and I've only had it twice ever so shut up.

Little Rock is definitely booming culturally, especially downtown. We need some of those restaurants up here.

Man...I didn't realize the BBQ scene was so poor still in NWA. I've taken up smoking recently and, man, wouldn't that be a fun venture. Quit my job and move "home" to open up a BBQ joint.

I wouldn't call it NWA but I've been to Rivertowne BBQ in Ozark a few times and really liked it. Craig's is the best in AR though.

It's actually the chef at the Hive in Bentonville who is up for Beard award. Weirdly enough, I'm not terribly impressed with the food at the Hive. I love the atmosphere. I love the menu. I just don't really love the food. I've been several times as well.

Don't get me wrong. The food is good, but I'm not totally floored by it.
