This probably ends in tears.

(Edit) Not to be snide or making this a joke. You just get the sense that this will not turn out well. God I hope I wrong on this one.

I agree. My speculation is that they found something of hers in his car after the accident and got the warrant for kidnapping so they could keep him detained. But I am just speculating. If he is the one who took her, and they have him but not her, then things don't look good. Hopefully I am just being an idiot and am way off.

He supposedly took a self picture of himself after the accident from the realtors phone, which automatically posted to her icloud.

Sounds plausible.

Ah, so that would explain that photo in the articles. I was wondering about that.

Expected but still horrible. Was hoping the guy was just holding her somewhere. Obviously he's some sort of nutcase. That picture is creepy

The needle is way too humane for this POS. There is a special place in Hell awaiting his worthless arse.

Prayers for all family and friends.

House used to entrap her... Bank owned and empty!

Sad, sad, sad.... If I were an agent, I would require proof of funds and drivers license copy prior to showing a property!

The real estate market is a tough gig. You get an inquiry to show a desirable piece of property then you jump on it with both feet as a realtor. Just a horrible turn of events for that poor woman and her family.

Perhaps life in the electric chair would suit this gentleman?

It would be appropriate but I'm thinking the gentleman should first be given unlimited minutes with the Tucker telephone.

I understand what you're saying, but I will say the not as 'popular' and less affluent victims that are murdered everyday should receive the same level of consideration.

And where's the TV coverage on the search for the missing teenager from Stuttgart?

Lewis told reporters she was chosen because "she was a woman that worked alone -- a rich broker."
I'm. A realtor and it's true we get a call and go show a property not knowing who we are meeting 60-70% of the time. Happened to me last week. At our sales meeting today I found out there was a female realtor in our office who was contacted a few months ago to show a gentlemen a vacant piece of property in the country. She had him meet her at our office and when our broker requested a copy of his drivers license he got upset and left even after our broker told him it was for the agents safety.

It's not just showing property that can be an issue also holding open houses that are vacant. A realtor in our area was kidnapped from a open house a few years ago.. I am going to get my conceal and carry permit after this tragic event. Beverly Carter's death will probably save another realtors like or keep her from being raped because of the measures she will take to remain safe that she might otherwise not have taken. Prayers for her family

Prayers from a sister Realtor and her family

Good idea. And if you're not already proficient to an even higher degree in the use of firearms and most importantly, firearm safety, I suggest doing so. It could save your life.

Back in the '70's, I remember a similar incident happening to a lady from Magnolia named 'Bobo' Shinn . The case has never been solved nor her body found.
