I'm not sure if you've noticed but Lsu plays Arkansas this week, not Alabama. The last time these two teams played, Arkansas won 17-0. LSU is a good team. Arkansas will be the 2nd best offense they have faced all year (wku).

Our defense is built to stop an LSU offense, I just hope we can tackle better.

lsu fans are really looking at this to be a redemption game for L4.

I think we have to look like the 2nd strongest team against the run that they will face after bama. If fournette starts breaking into the secondary, it could get ugly.

To me the key is to mix things up on defense to confuse their young QB. He will not be as easily rattled at home, but if we can keep him confused and off balance in the passing game he might make some mistakes.

Their QB has the talent to throw an accurate ball down field and they have athletic receivers to go after contested balls, so the key is containing the run and then getting their QB frazzled with different coverages and disguised blitzes.

Yeah they are gonna try to pound the run then use play action to get us on the deep ball. I think it will be a close game.

We'll be OK as long as we fricking tackle!! Cannot be stressed enough, if we'd have just wrapped up and made the plays when they were there we would've beat Ole miss by 30.

We are going to need to be +2 in turnovers, which seems doable. I kinda feel like Gaines is due for a nice stretch of play to end his career.

It should be a good game. Les has his work cut out for him in keeping his team focused but they aren't out of the playoff race yet. If Bama stumbles along the way and they win out then LSU still has a shot.

Defensively I think we need to be patient and make Harris beat us with his arm. As poorly as our secondary has played I like our chances against the LSU passing attack.

now they're getting would up about this

quote:

Of those six Louisiana natives expected to play against LSU on Saturday, Ramirez is the most excited. The redshirt freshman strayed away from typical talking points on Wednesday.

Ramirez, especially, had some words for LSU quarterback Brandon Harris, who heads the SEC’s lowest-ranked passing offense.

“He is predictable where he wants to go. He has got a good arm on him but he’s not as accurate,” Ramirez said. “He’s not very good with the ball in terms of decision making but he can really throw the ball and he can get receivers behind us and we have to be careful with it.”

Ramirez’s strong feelings have a basis. He was offered a scholarship to LSU but was given second-option. Basically, he was a fallback option for the Tigers.

No thanks, he said. He’s been primed for this game ever since.

“I have been looking forward trying to get to LSU,” Ramirez said. “I have some past ties with them and I want to get down there and show them what I’m all about.”

This week always reminds me how terrible LSU fans are (at least on here)

The ones I know in Arkansas are pretty bad too. Most I've come across are bandwagon fans who have never been there and that annoys me more than anything.
