I may as well play along too.
On the bright side we have five more games to play this season at Fayetteville. Since we have already won one game there, with those five upcoming victories at Fayetteville, we will at least be bowl eligible as we were last year; hence, no decline even if we were to lose each and every one of our away games. The worst is behind us now, the best of the season is yet to come and we all have something to look forward to.
You see, there is a silver lining in every cloud.
The problem is, that if Coach B really does see Little Rock as a road game then it means our team, once again, has played as flat as can be on the road. This in a stadium where most of the fans in attendance were ours.
We have two stretches in league play with back to back road games. If we can't win on the road in Little Rock then what will we do on the road in a hostile SEC stadium?

I'd rather play in a hostile environment than no environment at all. LR games have the atmosphere of a glorified scrimmage.

What did have something to do with it is the fact that we have a coach who obviously detests playing there and cannot get his team up for these games.
It probably doesn't help our team's view of playing in LR when the coach is blasting it on state radio.
I don't know if it's Bielema's fault, but he does deserve the blame for it. There is no good excuse for how we've been playing in LR lately and blaming it on the city, or the stadium, is just dumb and dishonest.

There were players last year that said they hated Little Rock games and that it feels like a road game to them, it was Bielema echoing the players.
That speaks volumes to me.
We just shouldn't be playing there, period. It's as JV as it gets across all of college football, it's a dump, and more importantly the players themselves hate it. Needs to be 1 game a year and that 1 game FCS level, if at all. Clean break would be best.
But yes, not the reason we lost, very very small part in that.

Driving thru Central Ark yesterday we listened to the pregame radio show. I heard lots of sucking off Central Arkansas and they asked every guest exclusively about how important/awesome the honor of playing in Central Arkansas. Did not mention that Toledo's first game was cancelled, their QBs name, any stats at all, any analysis or breakdown at all. They did mention the names of the WMS commission. But apparently Toledo's QB or HC names weren't relevant enough to the game to be mentioned. I also heard a story about how next time you are in Fayetteville check out the new Jones center. I guess it's tough to see on campus facilities we spent millions on from 3 hours away! But trust us...its nice!
Central Arkansas people are obsessed with "getting theirs" and nothing else. They have to be told repeatedly how they are somehow relevant to the team and University. They aren't. The Dallas game is more important to more alumni and definitely recruits. They give no fricks about the team, they feel entitled to a game for who knows why. I say frick them

Nice melt. On the bright side your brethren on Tardville (well at least some of them anyway) agree with you. LINK. You're in good company.
And here I was beginning to think that Obama being President was the reason we lost.

Why do we take a travel squad to LR if it's a home game? Is there an NCAA rule? Is it budget restraints?
Bielema said they took 70 players to this game. Have to think if there was a full squad on the sidelines we'd have been better equipped to handle the injuries and pull ineffective players.
I'm confused.

We just need to get rid of the Damn little rock games once and for all!

Sorry. At least 3 more guaranteed, with one of them a conference game.
Those bitching about the atmosphere have never been there I suspect. The fans and atmosphere damn sure weren't the problem.

Would love for you to post a link, or ANY thing to back this up. Seriously, I would be interested in seeing it.

I've been to plenty of games in WMS.
Me in a recliner in the front yard with no shirt and fifth of wild turkey has as much atmosphere and culture as the main attraction to the game, the golf course.
Inside the stadium, it becomes evident that all the "dumbest fan base in America" stems form the Central and South Arkansas fans that show up, but I try not to blame them personally, they can't help their schools systems get the least results down there.

I don't think you can blame being in Little Rock for the loss.
I absolutely hope they use it as an excuse to not play there, however.

I don't think playing in LR was the reason we lost. But I do think we lose an edge by playing there. Something that can be the difference in a close game like Saturday.
An edge that other teams won't give up by playing a "home game" his away from home in a shitty stadium. So why do we still do it?
