GAME DAY. Little Rock takes on Florida tonight on the @SECNetwork

quote:

LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock will look to bounce back from Monday night's loss at Oral Roberts when it travels to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators on Wednesday. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. (Central) and the game will be televised on the SEC Network and available through WatchESPN.

Little Rock struggled through its worst shooting night of the season on Monday. The Trojans' 48 points were a season low while the overall field goal percentage (.345) was the team's second-lowest output of 2016-17.

Maurius Hill nearly posted a double-double, finishing with a team-high 13 points and eight rebounds. Jalen Jackson scored in double figures for the eighth time on the season, finishing with 12 points on 6-of-12 shooting. Lis Shoshi grabbed 14 rebounds and set new career bests with four steals and four blocked shots.

Florida is 8-3 on the season, most recently beating Charlotte 87-46 on Saturday. The Gators' losses have come at the hands of Gonzaga, Duke and Florida State.

Wednesday's matchup will be the Gators' first home game of the season and first game ever at the newly-renovated Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.

Former North Little Rock High School star KeVaughn Allen leads Florida in scoring at 13.1 points per game. Allen is one of three Gators averaging double figures and five scoring at least 9.0 per game. Florida's defense is forcing its opponents into 16.5 turnovers per game.

Florida topped Little Rock 86-56 in Nov. 2013 in the only other meeting between the programs. The Trojans trailed 40-37 with 14:21 to play before Florida scored 14 of the next 18 to pull away.

Head coach Mike White is in his second season as head coach.

They've actually been getting a slight RPI boost by playing their crap teams on the road instead of at home. Wouldn't mind us doing that a few times since no one has been coming anyway lol.

Florida 94-71 over Little Rock

That didn't go very well, the score doesn't reflect how bad the arse whipping was.
