Justin Moore needs to hurry up and write us a peppy Arkansas song that we can blast repeatedly.

The hog call us great. But it's not great enough to be a one trick pony. It takes a bit to get the steam rolling.

I'd like a pop n bop 5 second screamer we can all do in unison and get in the heads of other fans.

From what I have heard the Hog Call is dreaded by opposing players. 70+ thousand people calling the Hogs raises the cackles big time. It might be the most effective fan chant/call in team sports. We are just silent much more then we need to be when it comes time to call the Hogs.

You should of watched the Tenner/OU game.

Each of their bands know literally one song a piece and play it every time the can.

It was interesting to hear them in unison during the game like some weird nickelback mash up on youtube.

In all seriousness.
I bet HDN's interview skills are off the chain.

I've only seen some highlights of Tenner this year but their RB was tearing it up at the end of last year and I assume is doing well this year if he's not hurt.

Running QB's usually give us trouble. We know their DEs are heralded.

How is their back 7? Maybe we can exploit that and do well.

I still feel like 10 points is not enough of a lead for this team going into the 4th on the road to not self destruct.

Nothing, absolutely nothing that has happened so far points to the idea that we could somehow hold a 4th quarter lead or grab a come from behind victory on the road.

So there's a good chance we will.

I keep holding out hope that we'll figure out a role for Duwop. Maybe this is the weekend.

Any other coaching in the SEC would have already done that.

Ya Know, when I first came to this site, I watched you, Chesh, Joker, hawgfaninc, Gladius, and a few others... and thought... this is where I want to be. Knowledgeable, thoughtful, insightful, and funny posters with an element of humanity most other sites are missing.

I still believe this, but dude, you have jumped off of the deep end if you believe that.

Les Miles is no better of a coach, he simply has better players/talent. I refuse to believe that there aren't 4-5 others just as bad.

I ask for one thing, are you totally done with CBB or are you willing to give a bit more time following this season?

I am willing to give 2 more years, yeah I know it is more than most, but I have waited this long and suffered through so damn much it is unbelievable. I have continued buying tix, donating, going and suffered as a hog fan unlike most at my age.

So, Are you done?

Several on this board have gone off the deep end, I can only hope their life isn't full of despair and suck to the point that they project onto this board.

Meh... sucks that the season is off to this kind of start. Had hoped for better - as we all had.
But there's not a damn thing I can do about it, nor will bitchin', complaining or losing sleep over it.
It is what it is.
Out of my power to fix though, so I'm not going to worry about it.
Do hope things improve though, and I think we will see improvement this weekend. Kind of feel like we can pull thi s one out.

Weather shows 62/58.

70% chance of rain in the morning and 90% at night.

Will be a bit windy.

Perhaps, but to this point it has been simply extra cash. It is much tighter than it was 4-5 years ago however. I have to evaluate annually. This is my Anniversary/Birthaday/Christmas/anyotherdangthingicanthingof present each year.

I'm with you.
I think a lot of fans were spoiled by Petrino coming in and putting together a few great seasons.
However, Petrino walked into a recruiting class that was custom made for his offense.
It takes time to rebuild a program and change the culture.
Changing a coach every 3 years is not the answer.
This isn't the NFL where a coach can come in and be one year away from having a winner.

We are not loaded with talent so relationships have to be established in recruiting areas and hopefully we start to maintain some form of consistency. Then we can take the next step.
