the hypothermia rumor has been going on since this afternoon. also his wife is at a prayer rally in Springdale at 9. if he's in the hospital that's probably where they would be right now, no?

regardless, hope are you right. I just hate when rumors spread so quickly when things like this happens. I literally read about the hypothermia thing earlier this afternoon. then the band posts this hours later.

You got me, I noticed this posed at 9:08 pm as it showed up on my feed which is being flooded, pun intended, with stupid people winning stupid prizes instead of funny photos about single mothers, etc.

I hope rumor is true. However, his own wife said they were suspending the search for the night and would start again tomorrow.

Yea they found the dog when they found Chase. The dog was by his side when found. Still have not found Craig.

They just did a little segment on the abc world news about this.
Last night I was googling around and saw they were doing the vigil at cross church and I thought but couldn't remember for sure that was THE church in Springdale. So I googled and went on their website and not to make light of the situation but on Ronnie Floyd's page I had to laugh because there in bold listed the things he has led the church in such as investing in missions etc. The last bold point is 'Invest in hurting people'. I think they may ought to look at rewording that.

It has been covered by CNN, Fox, and I saw the ABC piece. Crazy. There's pretty much zero hope that he is found alive at this point.

Search called off for the day. Will resume in the morning.
At this point, hopefully they can just find his body to give his family some closure. I would imagine all of the rain that fell increased the water level of the lake which likely made more current.
Such a sad deal and another example of how each choice a person makes, no matter how small it may seem, could be the last choice you ever make.

Terrible situation.

A nephew of mine plays the NWA club band scene and he's pretty shaken up by the whole thing.

First of all, just because you put a ? mark at the end of a sentence, doesn't make it a question.
Secondly, yes, I will say and post as I wish, regardless if it "triggers" your sensitive side, especially when someone comes into a thread with so much "tragedy" and posts that someone is alive, when clearly that is unknown.

I'm cool with the swipe, because I thought it was pretty bad form to repeat an obviously false rumor about them finding the guy alive, and flippantly so.
Rumors like that in a situation like this are pretty hurtful to the family and friends, not that any of them post here. But wherever that got started, it probably gave at least someone connected to the story some false-hope, and that sucks.
