Bielema on Jojo Robinson: We've made the decision that it would probably be in his best interest to consider a redshirt year
Probably for the best.

Not sure if this a good thing or bad thing, but the optimist in me says it possibly means our WR depth is in a decent enough place:
Good? - possibly means our receivers are actually competent this year, and/or Bielema and Chaney are confident enough in our corps talent and depth as is to put a shirt on JoJo for a year and have him develop.
Bad? - possibly poses the questions of "is he not ready?" or "what happened to the 'he's going to contribute early' talk?" or "is there an issue in the classroom?"

Was he not dinged up some at the beginning of the season, or at least that's what we were told?

He's been dinged up since camp. Pulled a hammy missed Auburn. Then was stepped on in the practice before Nichols St. missed the next 2.
Obviously for depth reasons it'd be good to redshirt him, but he might not ever be as fast as he is now because Herb will put weight on him and he will naturally as he matures and builds muscle as a part of growing up and filling out.
Often that freshman speed some players have never returns as they bulk up. Felix in the NFL is a good example. He put on 20 lbs and became a physical monster but lost that extra gear that made him a special player.

Forgot to roll that question in as well, which would probably file under both 'good' and 'bad.' Good in the sense that it's not between the ears, bad in that sense that it's an injury and affects depth.

I'm not too worried about Jojo getting "too big". Herbert seems to know the ideal weights for his players and doesn't try to make everyone a huge physical freak. JCorn and Demetrius Wilson definitely haven't bulked up enough to lose their speed. Korliss is still sitting pretty right around where he was last year too.
