Jedd Fisch - Arizona

Has anyone looked at what he's done since being hired at Arizona? He was hired in 2020, and coached his first season in 2021.
He took over a truly awful situation at Arizona. Terribly untalented roster, horrible program morale, fans and facilities aren't up to snuff with programs that care about football.
2021 1-11
2022 5-7
2023 8-3
I like seeing a coach that can improve a program. Especially one that was in such despair as Arizona. His teams also improve and get better over the course of a season. That shows good coaching and good player development. Those traits are invaluable to a place like here.
His teams also fight their asses off and will scrap and punch you in the nose. They don't give up when faced with adversity.
All traits and characteristics of his teams would excel here.
We will probably wind up keeping aww shucks baw and watch the program continue to spiral downwards though.

The Arizona guy at least has a conference they'll transition to... check out the Oregon State guy who's massively over-indexed on his resources... probably wondering how Meh the Mountain West is going to be... current paid well less than $3Mil.

We will hire a guy who really loves the helmet and takes a pay cut for his “dream job”.
He will win enough games for an extension, hire Sexton and we will bid against ourselves for a dumb buyout.
It’s our destiny. HDN, Bert and Fatman.
Jedd Fisch isn’t coming here, he will take over one of the LA jobs and take all his transfers back home with him. Whether it’s Riley going to the pros or Chip being fired.
I did like his interview in which he said, I told my recruiters not to recruit anyone from a losing high school team, that brings a mentality you can’t get rid of. He also was asked if he had a measurement size of what he wanted guys to be, he said of course all the good ones do. He then said there is always exceptions for Aaron Donald. Said he turned down guys that were too short and borderline and rated higher over guys that fit the mold of the ones he wanted.

Yes, the one who's alma mater is about to be relegated into irrelevance being left behind in the Pac-12's ineptitude and subsequent destruction.
It's a case of 'offer the money and make the guy say No.'
But we are quickly proving we don't deserve a guy like this... again.

I was intrigued by him and looked up his wiki…saw he currently has the exact same record Chad Morris had at SMU when we hired him and got PTSD for a bit

I made a post the the other day, which i cannot find now, about some kid I work with is friends with a kid of a department head...yada..yada..yada...and today i got the name out of him of the coach they were going after and it was Jedd Fisch. Just throwing that out there.
