Maybe. If I get arrested, I need everyone to promise to pitch in for bail. I'm not going to be anyone's bitch.

@DannyWest1: It's Friday night and still no word on Alex Collins. He's either really torn on the decision or someone stole his NFL paperwork. We'll see.

Would need to make sure it's worth it. My recommendation would be a teaser video post so we know what we get to see for our money or atleast somewhat know.

On a serious note I can't believe Collins is Kipers 6th best back. I didn't realize that he was that low on the NFL totem pole this year. Does make his indecision make a lot more sense though.

Running backs simply aren't as valued in today's NFL.
The NFL has been a spread passing league for a decade or two at least. That West Coast Offense took over and the role of the RB has been diminished ever since.
I've been ranting about the fallacy of the "pro style offense" for years. The NY Times just had an article about the lessening of the 1,000 yard mark. There were only 7 1,000 yard rushers in the NFL this season, the lowest since 1991.
LINK
When you only need to average 62.5 yards a game to hit the mark, it's easy to see why the NFL for a RB isn't the jackpot that it used to be.
It may also be a fatal flaw to Bielema's philosophy on the field and a major hurdle to overcome in recruiting as his reputation is that of an old school rushing attack. It's not reality but it is the perception.
Personally I'd like for him to come back and get that degree and set a whole bunch of records and cement a legacy that'll be talked about for years. The publicity he'll get from that 4th 1,000 yard season will be an incredible asset to him in the post-football business world.

I think he jukes too much. Yes, he is following his blocks a lot of the time. But, IMHO, he doesn't have the speed or quickness to be effective in the NFL.

IDK Man, he seems to be better in college than several current NFL backs making a living...
I think he has what it takes...

I disagree I think he has it all for the NFL. Sharp quick cuts, power, acceleration, vision.
Vision is the most important aspect to a RB, nothing else matters if you can't find a hole. Collins has next level vision with excellent cutbacks and patience behind his line.

This. NFL d-lines are too good for there to be consistent big holes to run through. You have to have good vision or you'll suck. No way around it.
Trent Richardson comes to mind.

This is so true and it is really sad. I think back to all the great running backs and fullbacks that played professionally through the years and wonder whether there would even be a place for them in today's game. There's lots of finesse in the modern game and real smash mouth football, really on both sides of the ball, is gone. If you are a back you are basically going to have to be able to catch a lot of passes to be utilized.
The pro game isn't what it once was and it is hard for me to be interested in it anymore. I used to look forward to watching football on Sundays--I rarely do so now.

Fournette will be a bust because of this.
Guice or whatever his back up's name is, is a much better back in these regards, but Les has to feed his 5* instate talent so he can run into the backs of his oline to keep his fanbase happy.
