Egads. I don't know when, or for that matter if, I will be coming back to Fayetteville as my dad's health has taken a turn for the worse but when I get back up I'll put together a care package for you.

Don't want you wasting away

There is a little dive bar on the southside called Bear's place, that has a lot of musicians that mix and match and sit in on different combos. Mostly blues and rock a billy type stuff tho.

On Sunday,I did my first ride down to Dickson St, with a headache and hangover, to pick up my car. Y'alls parking situation is shite. But at least they're very good about allowing cars to stay overnight.

Though my gears were a little messed up, so I need a tune up. Any bike shop recommendations?

I've looked into moving back. I was even checking out how cheap the condos and townhomes around Dickson are. Sadly, I can't make the money in Fayetteville that I am making in Dallas. Maybe later down the road, but not right now.

That's what's funny about my situation. I'm making significantly better money than I did in Colorado. Though it's because of the company, and my job isn't permanent. But it's long enough to move and have a lot of money to have freedom down the road.

I hope your rent is cheap. That area is old apartments and warehouses

Cheap as hell. I'm paying less for a one bedroom, than I did in Boulder with 4 roommates.

High Roller is the classic that's been around forever. Great old-school local vibe. Phat Tire is the newer shop that's growing significantly with locations all over the region (a couple of new ones in Tulsa... I believe they have Walton brother backing). It's very connected into the current trail explosion in the region with locations in both Bentonville and Fayetteville.

Both shops are great. I ride a Salsa which I service at Phat Tire and my son rides a Specialized which we service at High Roller.

That sounds great to me. It's that pop country that I can't stand. I just appreciate talent and creativity. I actually went down to campus for a professor performance. Y'alls music department is legit. There's a few things they have going on I know I'll be attending.

And I don't have to deal with a bunch of pretentious Boulderites. I'm progressive and open minded. But there it's absurd. It's the political board's worst nightmare, and they have money.

Denver is cool. But I was to afraid to live where I wanted, because my dog wasn't legal. And it's really far from all of my family and friends. If the salaries for my job were on par with the cost of living, I'd have been more inclined to stay there.

I'm just going to feel bad when Bama has to beat you in a couple of days.

I'm just hoping i don't get screwed with having to work late tomorrow. I've been anticipating this game for two months, and they're doing the only thing I can't get someone to cover for me. Not that I'm optimistic, but I'd love to see that game.

I'm up here for a year,KC is a great place with a lot to do and it's not overcrowded.

I just can't get used to the cold, makes it a pain in the arse to get out on my bike.

No need to quit. I'm walking my dog, about to drink a couple of beers. I might even have to wear my crimson houndstooth jacket.

You need to soothe your soul after that game at Frost Fesr on saturday, since you're within walking distance of Fossil Cove. Great beer fest. I'd be there if my kid weren't wrestling in State all day.

I have now moved from being within walking distance of both Fossil Cove and the depraved Bottom's Up to... being within walking distance of 5 churches.

My mojo is not rising at the moment I fear.
