You're obviously not in health care. I could go on and on about the government sticking their nose in it but it's really not worth it. I honestly thought the government could have made some really great positive changes to healthcare by changing 3-5 small things, but instead they threw a jam packed expensive bill at the taxpayers that has been an utter disaster. The government just decided they weren't getting a large enough slice of the pie. By the way, I've never seen an uninsured patient get turned away EVER.

Even with that slice of the pie he has still managed to double the national debt since 2009.

That would be fine if people that chose to be uninsured couldn't get their healthcare for free for not being insured, but before Obamacare, hospitals were having to treat millions of people for free and then tacking their loses onto the prices that responsible insured people had to pay.

Now uninsured irresponsible people still get free treatment as opposed to letting them die in the street, but at least they have to pay a small tax for the coverage risk they put on everyone else.

It's called taking responsibility.

And just FYI, my company got a group plan for the first time in their history in order to avoid the company mandate tax and then ended up getting an unbelievable monthly premium of $282 per month, which allowed us to provide employee premiums of around $100 per month for good co-pay coverage.

So don't act you're talking for everybody with Obamacare. Lots of people have had good experiences with it or have not noticed large increases, anymore than we've been getting for the last 25 years, as healthcare has always been double or triple the average inflation rate.

Whenever I see this statement, I know I'm dealing with one of two things,

someone who is dishonestly partisan, or someone who actually believes the debt spike we got hit with in 2009 through 2012 was Obama's fault and thus is a complete idiot in their understanding of what caused it.

I realize you are dishonestly partisan and not a complete idiot, at least with sports you're not.

Obamacare will need a 20 year retrospective with resultant market shake out to really judge it. A lot of the knee jerk reactions of insurance companies and health care providers will levelize with time. Still not convinced it will be a net positive for America, but I don't think it's fair to judge it based on a few years in existence.

I could only imagine if I worked for the government and I decided to set up a exchange server next to the janitors closet just to avoid FOIA. Then open RDP to the Internet (pure lunacy) and give myself a computer without a password on it (more lunacy). I would be fired so quick it would make my head spin, and would probably never be able to hold a government job again.

As someone that works in IT, formerly worked for the state with FOIA around, and understands what she did regarding both....I cannot vote for Hillary.

Its really too bad the Repubs picked Donald to be their "outsider" politician. I really wish they would have went for someone more like Ross Perot.

Edit: Autocorrect corrected to the wrong word

frick hillary

Trump voters I can understand. They want change from what Obama has done. They'd probably vote for Johnson if they thought he had a chance of winning.

Hillary voters are just crazy. They're probably living on the government teet and/or delusional.

Weird, every Hillary voter with whom I associate is a well-educated professional. You might want to stick your head out of the echo chamber every now and then.

I'm not saying that all Clinton voters are well-educated and professional, but a significant portion of her supporters are.

Meh...Ill vote for Trump simply because I am sick of all the political bullshite that has been going on in this country. He isn't a politician, and until he started running against the Demcrats, he wasn't considered racist, he wasn't considered a huge arse hole, etc.

I already replied to this on the first page, but I want to revisit it so I can respond specifically to the "until he started running against the Democrats, he wasn't considered racist" statement. It's wrong, and the reasons it's wrong are well documented here:

That is great that you found that link, even though 95% of that is simply hearsay.

The best part is the portion on wanting the death penalty for rapists. It looks like a shite ton of assuming on the part of who wrote the article. I mean, come on.

Meanwhile within the last two weeks it has been proven how crooked the Democratic party is. I guess it is just a coincidence that Hillary is at the top of the party right now. It is also just a coincidence 33,000 emails were deleted from her personal account that held classified information. It is also just a coincidence that someone was shot dead just a few days ago that knew information about her. It is also a coincidence that there is a trail of dead people dating back to their days in Arkansas. It is also a coincidence that she holds the most responsibility when it comes to Benghazi. It is also a coincidence that she has taken money from Saudi Arabia for years. It is also a coincidence that she was in favor of the war in Iraq. It is also a coincidence that during the weakest time of our national security, she was the Secretary of State.

No they aren't. Its simple demographics. She will garner most of her votes from the poorest areas of America.

They're not too educated if they plan on voting for Hillary Clinton.

So, Obama and his supporters can continue to blame George Bush, nearly 8 years later but Obama cannot be blamed for something that happened while he was in office?

Got it.

“Hard-working white Americans” prefer her to Obama. In May 2008, Clinton told the USA Today that while Obama was leading the delegate race, she still had a broader political base. Unfortunately, she made that claim in explicitly racial terms, citing an Associated Press poll “that found how Senator Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me.”

quote:

“Colored People’s Time.” Clinton appeared alongside left-wing New York City mayor Bill de Blasio at the annual Inner Circle Dinner this year, and joined in a racist joke based on a stereotype that black people are late for everything: Clinton: I just have to say thanks for the endorsement, Bill. Took you long enough. [Laughter]

De Blasio: Sorry Hillary, I was running on C.P. time. [Audience gasps]

Host: I don’t like jokes like that.

As Mediate later noted, the cable news networks mostly ignored the racist joke.

quote:

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. wasn’t really THAT great. As she struggled to stop the Obama insurgency in the 2008 Democratic primary, Clinton tried to diminish Obama’s credentials as a “community organizer,” which had led some to draw connections between him and Dr. King. Clinton argued that it was really a professional politician, President Lyndon Johnson, who made the difference: “Dr. King’s dream began to be realized when President Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act”

quote:

“Ah don’t feel no ways TAHHHHHRD.” Clinton, like Vice President Al Gore, and indeed like President Obama himself, has a tendency to imitate what she believes to be an African-American accent when she speaks before black audiences. Obama, who grew up in Hawaii, at least has some cultural competence and experience, honed through practice in inner city Chicago. Clinton manages to sound condescending every time — most notoriously in this cringe-worthy clip from 2008.

quote:

Obama’s “slumlord,” and “super predators.” Losing traction in 2008, Clinton belatedly attacked Obama’s connection to fraudster and fundraiser Tony Rezko: “I was fighting against those [Reagan] ideas when you were practicing law and representing your contributor, Rezko, in his slum landlord business in inner city Chicago,” she said in a South Carolina debate. The remark was described as racist by Obama fans — as was her 1996 term for chronic criminals, “super predators.”

Hawgeye, you're assigning a budget deficit to Obama (largest in history) that was passed before Obama was elected president.

You do know what a budget is correct?

The budget year runs Oct-Sept. if they already haven't done it, Congress will pass the 2017 budget before we know who the next president is.

By your logic with Obama, this will be Trump's budget that will be his fault if it runs a huge deficit even though he has absolutely nothing to do with the budget for what would be his first year in office.

Fox News has lied and dumbed people down to the point that a big percentage of the population cannot even grasp a concept as simple as this one.

Hawgeye should be ashamed among this more educated audience to get caught repeating something so easily debunked.

Credibility matters.

I've heard Fox attribute that 2009 deficit to Obama over and over again.

It should be against the law for them to report blatantly false info.

Most people with college degrees are not taken in by partisan rhetoric which is why Hillary is ahead in that demographic, even just whites with degrees.

Where Hillary is getting creamed is with lower educated whites.

That should tell you something.

That is if you have a degree.

If you don't then you probably can't follow what I'm saying.

Do you even read what you type?

As someone in the business world, some of the most intelligent people I've come across have less education than myself.

Have you ever thought that it could be possible that you're not as smart as you believe?

The Democratic Party is so much different than what it was 30 years ago. It's amazing.
