Why are you trying to argue with me? We are exactly what I thought we would be. A 4-2 team thru 6 games. Seems like your melting on me.

I'm not arguing, simple questions for the complaints.

Anyone can answer them, but I can only assume they expected this team to be a top ten team if they expected them to beat top ten teams.

There isn't a true top ten team left on the schedule unless they draw one in the bowl game.

Bert year 4 is no better than Bert year 2 or 3. Could very easily be winless at this point. I don't think it's too much to ask to see improvement. We suck arse. I'll hold final judgement until the end of the season. Don't really give a shite either way anymore.

He answered your question. Move that hurdle, though.

I'm not gonna melt either. We lost a lot last year and Bama has gotten better. A&M and Bama are easily the 2 best teams in the SEC. The only game either of them will lose is whoever loses that game.

We don't have the recruiting bases other teams have. We have to hope we're hitting our stride as other teams are a going through a lull. That's true no matter who is coach here.

I think we all knew we would have to play clean games and not help aggy/Bama beat us, that didn't happen, so it's no coincidence that the mov reflects our mistakes.

On the flip side, the team needs to capitalize on their opponents mistakes and that didn't happen tonight.

Why in the hell do some of you think we are world beaters.. This team was in rebuild mode. We are sitting right where I thought we would be.

We don't recruit like Bama every year.. we never do any year.

Chill the frick out.

Lost to the #1 team that has the #1 defense, who recruits the #1 class every year, and is coached by tGOAT. Yeah I'll save my melt for another day.

Unfortunately, they are our competition. They will always be our competition. We need something to change on our end.

Did you even watch the game?

Yeah I watched the game. We had a lot of issues. I compare it to the AM game. Had we played perfect ball, maybe we would have won.

Am I happy with year 4? Yes and No. But in not going to melt over an Alabama game. Look at how many games they have lost since Saban arrived.

If we want to make coaching changes over a Bama loss?.....please.

I get the OLINE concerns but if I'm really going to complain, the entire defense was the problem. Offense did all it could and never gave up.

I've said this since Petrino was here -- there's a similarity between losing to Alabama and beating an OOC cupcake in that you can't really derive anything valuable from the game in terms of analysis and extrapolate it over the the course of a season.

They have arguably the greatest coach in college football history. They have umpteen former head coaches among the ranks of their assistants. They have an army of analysts and support staff. Their recruiting is second to none and has been so for a decade, and they don't miss. Their 5 stars are backed up by 5 stars. Their scout team is littered with blue chippers. They have program momentum. Oh, and they have the best strength and conditioning coach in the country.

We got absolutely blasted by Alabama in 2011 and went on to win 11 games. I'm not saying that history will repeat itself, but I'm not taking anything lasting away from this game.

Simply put, I'm not taking to my fainting couch over losing to the best dynasty modern college football.

glad to see the incessant bitching has set in. When is this board going to come back to the reality that we are a lot closer historically to miss state, ole miss, kentucky, and south carolina than we are to bama, lsu, and auburn?

Bama is bigger faster and stronger than us. They recruit at a much higher level.

what was supposed to happen?

I don't think anyone is arguing what kind of program we are. We're hoping for something to change. Complacency is toxic.

just keeping it real all those programs have multiple national championships. We've got one shady one from 64 that bama claims as well.

I agree we should be striving to be better and I think we are. we didn't get as badly throttled as other teams have and we didn't play our best game.

We're weak exactly where we thought we were. you can't have an offensive line be this weak and win big games.
