with the ticket exchanges now it's better to just pick a la carte.
The only investment I'd make into sports these days would be luxury suites at big time pro stadiums like Staples Center, Madison Square Garden, the new T-Mobile Arena in Vegas, American Airlines Center in Dallas and possibly the SAP Center in San Jose.
Luxury suite owners get 12-20 tickets to every event at the arena, VIP parking, catered food options and alcohol privileges.
Plus you can sell the suite for games/events you don't use. Play it smart and you can easily recoup the $170K-$420K it takes to get a suite and likely turn a profit on it as well.
