Something to look forward to. Something to have conversation about with our friends, acquaintances. Something to give everyone hope for the future.

Instead, we've got to swallow the fact a fat arse is our coach. He isn't planning on firing anyone. He is getting prepped for his 2nd season of his reality show. He is readying his next diarrhea of the mouth, as he flips the A at our fan base.

Ugh...

I don't understand how our players can respect him. A guy who doesn't have the discipline to control his weight telling you to have discipline? GTFO

Man, you're genuinely taking this rough. I'm right there with you though.

This is the first time I've been seriously depressed about a loss under Bielema. Between this halting our "better record each season he's been here" streak and living in Missouri around these Mizzou fans, I'm taking this extremely rough.

Toledo didn't suck? I couldn't stand that.

I've got tickets in 3 different locations in the stadium. I've been anxious to get tickets in the new end zone.

I'm currently questioning my future commitment to a coach that just went 7-5 and lost to the worst team in the league. Not to mention we are staring a 5-7/6-6 type season squarely in the face next year.

I may buy a new boat with the money I can save and sleep on the lake all late summer and fall and just listen to Chuck and Quin as the sun sets each Saturday afternoon from now on.

I'm not sure. I've got a serious mental mma fight going on right now.

We weren't manhandling Toledo and up 24-7 at the half. This one was just different. I thought we were going to finish the year 9-4 but, with the way this team rolled over in the second half, I'm betting on 7-6 and an offseason full of turmoil.

Ditto.

As odd as it sounds, I find myself sort of envying LSU fans and the optimism that comes with a coaching search and turning the page in hopes of brighter horizons.

I've never been this pessimistic about the future of Hog football, and that includes the early months of 2007 and 2012.

I brought up the fact this past week that I wasn't pencilling Mizzou in as a win because we haven't won back to back games since September.

Bert didn't have to go and prove me right.

I understand man. I have a lot of family in the Northeastern US and they remind me that Arkansas lost to Toledo often. Very similar game to today, had chances to win, didn't because of redzone retardation.

Felt like his first season all over again.

Didn't we blow a lead on the road to Rutgers in 2013? A team, no matter how shitty we were, had no business losing to.

Basically it was 2013 all over again. We took arse whippings from all the good teams we played. Blew a lead to a shitty opponent. Ran stupid trickeration. Stupid play calling.

We blew a 24-7 second half lead to Rutgers that year.

Yes. Then we hired their Dline coach at the end of the season. Brilliant.

No staff changes. Seagrest's Samford D-line is apparently gonna keep him employed 4 years later. How much talent will we waste before a change is made? That's one position group where we actually have some talent and we suck lol.

I just want to hire a DL coach that no longer platoons players 3 deep. I'm so tired of the extreme rotation.

Just because Bert said no changes doesn't mean there isn't going to be changes.

He has said no changes every year, yet every year there has been changes.

It will all work itself out after the bowl, which thanks to their performance won't make for a long wait this year.

seriously my brother, look at the ROI you get from your investment in Razorback athletics.

It's an entertainment and leisure expense. Some would ask how many times would you take a boat out? Maybe 8x a year? That's how many home games you get at best, but there's Little Rock games and the A&M game so there's really just 6-7 games you pay for.

Add up the expenses, travel, food & bev, parking, clothing etc.

Add up the arbitrary enjoyment and pleasure however you feel you can measure it. Multiply that by the number of friends and family you take to games and do the same for how many will fit on a tooner or a fish n' ski boat, or whatever else you could imagine to do with your money and decide if the Hogs really are worth the money you spend on them.

and no I'm not boat salesman, but If I were that'd be a close I'd probably use if I had to.

We gave up our season tickets years ago in all sports, the hardest was the ones that transferred over from barnhill to bwa that were passed along to me.

I now spend that money on other hobbies, something that I can actually regain 60% at worst of my investment back via resale when upgrading or changing course.

I actually get to be a participant instead of a spectator, my family gets to be actively involved with me, three generations in fact. I have travelled all over the country partipating in events, been featured in the media, print, cyber, and on tv.

Compare that investment to the costs of season tickets and the fact that if you can't or don't want to attend a game you at best get face value for the ticket for most games ignoring all the other costs associated with the ticket.

All this and I have yet to miss a game I actually wanted to attend...
