I don't think we're top 10 good.. but definitely top 25 good.

The team can win in a lot of different ways and has a real offense. They don't have to force turnovers to score.

Oh god the hype right now.

I went through the schedule and honestly saw at max 6 losses. I'm a little overconfident.

Not too shabby at all- much better than I would have expected.

Hard to find more with the conference being so shitty. If games were played on paper, I only see us losing to Kentucky.

i feel that way about the college game in general.

but its always been an "ugly" style, hence the "40 minutes of Hell" lending itself to easy, racial stereotyping that Nolan always talked about.

i def think we lack some sharpness and are still missing that little edge where you always seem to on the same page as the next guy (alley-oops, no look passes, fancy shite), but if the chemistry grows on the court in the next couple months, the shots keep falling, and MA keeps them glued in D, we're going to win alot of games.

Right now we are good. We might be great. But good gets us into the Big Dance and might get us a round or two in.

We can win on the road.

Compared to past teams that is huge. I like our chances to make some noise this season.

I think we'll beat Clemson and Dayton but @Iowa State will be really tough. Wish we had them at Bud Walton.

Win or lose, we'll see what we've got against Iowa St. Probably our hardest road game all season besides UK

Definitely.

I'm not getting my hopes up too much, but Iowa State only has 6 players who have played in every game. Gotta imagine our depth will give them trouble.

That's because NBA Bench Players/role players/journey men were staying until their junior and senior seasons, NBA all stars were staying until they were juniors, now anyone who might have a shot is leaving after a year or two.

This is Arkansas' best team since the 97-98 season with a legit chance to be the best since the 94-95 season.

Yes, the best thing about Clemson is the good ACC teams that will be forced to play them during the year while providing a "name" for the football illiterate fans.

Wake will likely sweep Clemson this year.

I still have no idea how LSU lost to Clemson . They've lost at home to Winthrop, Gardner-Webb, and now Rutgers (who is awful). We should beat them by 25+.

It's an SEC basketball team that isn't named Arkansas, Kentucky, or Florida. Is it that hard to figure out?

yes, all that. this is going to sound so cheesy but i remember there were moments of beauty back then- almost like a perfect ballet for a few minutes of steal pass pass alley oop rinse repeat knock down a three, steal yadda yadda- you could hit mute and play mozart to it and it would work.

i think dale hit the nail on the head as far as my issue- it's a different game now with people leaving so early for the nba. i have to adjust my interpretation of what is great play.

Its funny because it plays towards the misconceptions people have about MA, his style, and his teams.

People think MA's style is like McClendon's and Nolan's trying to make a fast break of every possession, the closer truth is MA's teams are modeled after the 94/95 team, guard oriented, pace and style of play doesn't matter to them, but they would like to take you out of your comfort level with tempo.

People see constant press and fast tempo and immediately just associate it with blind aggression. Let them think what they want. As long as we win I don't care how the media spins it.
