First career NFL punt, pinned the 'boys inside the 10.

Now Dallas needs to go ahead and score and lose by 3 or less.

He nailed a 51 yarder earlier in the game. Right down the middle and would have been good from 65. God I miss him so much.

Our placekicking has become cringe worthy.

Out kickoff guy can only get it to about the 10 yard line.

Remember Hocker's junior and senior years? It was out of the back of the endzone EVERY DAMN TIME.

I think twice he was able to still get a touchback after celebration penalties.

Hocker released by Saints

The writing was on the wall for Hocker after he missed two field goals in Thursday night's 31-21 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

Hocker was already on the hot seat after missing a 30-yarder that would have sealed a victory over the Dallas Cowboys earlier in the month. That prompted New Orleans to bring in Forbath, among others, for a tryout.

"We're going to play in a game that is going to be a bit closer than that," Payton said of the missed kicks after the victory over Atlanta. "That one could've easily been real close. We just have to be better."

He gone
