After the Ohio State game, and all of the BS our program has been put through the past two seasons, I'm all out of fricks to give for other team's misfortunes.
Sucks for the Georgia fanbase. Mark Richt is an excellent coach who has had his own damnable luck the past couple of years. One play away from getting the chance to drum Notre Dame in the NC game, injuries devastating a season that could have been awesome last year, and now this. Nonetheless, we've experienced enough heartbreak of our own. It's going to be terrible if we can't reap the benefits and capitalize on this. We need an SEC win in the worst way.

Couldn't agree more.
Like you said, after the roller coaster shitefest our program has been through the last few years -- heck, even dating back to Nutt's last year and Petrino's godawful first year -- I couldn't care less about other teams' unfortunate circumstances.
I'm so hungry to win, I wouldn't care if their entire team is suspended.

I just dont give a shite anymore. They all kicked us while we were down, still are, and will do it again. They all deserve a beat down. This is the SEC, wins are extremely hard to get. I dont care how we get them, as long as we do. The ball just took an Arkansas bounce as far as I am concerned.

I think there are parallels between the UGA and Arkansas situations. A difference is that the debacle with Gurley, though he is an invaluable player for the Georgia program, will be a setback but won't lead to a dismantling of the entire program (at least I believe this to be true).
On the other hand with the Petrino firing I think we all knew we were basically going to have to start over with a program rebuild for doing the right thing and that it was going to take some period of time for this to be accomplished. I'd say the repercussions from the firing have made things more difficult than we might have imagined. It sure is hard as hell when you are going through it and ask yourself each day when and if the corner will ever be turned. And on top of that you have everyone else constantly asking, "When are y'all going to be relevant again."
I understand a lot of what I'm reading now to the effect of integrity be damned as you just need to do whatever you have to do to win. We had those debates back then when people lined up for or against Long's firing decision. I hate to see any school have to go through such a thing. It is an extraordinarily rough road in which you have to travel. Or some might argue a road you shouldn't travel.

Oh, thought you meant UGA fans. But let's be honest, we don't deserve this shite right now. We run one of the cleaner programs and pay hell for it.

Which is why I posted the link to the 78 Orange Bowl. No one really knows the effect of a suspension. Teams can and do make adjustments and may even play better in the face of adversity.

the NCAA is a farce period, Manziel 1/2 a game, Newton notta, Winston Blah, and but this...
I would play gurley and not apologize for it period.

I hope to sweet baby Jeebus that UGA never has a stretch like Arkansas has had the last few years. I don't think anyone deserves to go through that. I'm one of the guys who want to keep Richt because I'm skerred to death what will happen if we make the wrong hire.
