Strangely enough, Otis said two days ago, when folks were melting down over him on 247, that the reason we didn't offer him wasn't because of his talent.

Crazy timing.

First of all, I am for decriminalization, but regulation the same as alcohol and tobacco, BUT...

When are these dumb arse kids going to learn be low key if they are going to party? Out with a car load of kids at 4:17 a.m. on any morning, much less Sunday... think you might draw a little attention?

Lazy Bert. That is easily correctable but he'd rather do his own partying than take the time to mentor and teach a young guy.

How many drug tests did Tyrann Matthieu fail while at LSU? Something like 10 right?

Bert would have rather not had him on the team and win 7 games instead of having to coach him through the pitfalls of life and being a star player where everyone on campus wants to be around you and have you like them so you get enticed by things that are hard to turn down.

When you grow up being taught that normal rules don't apply to you because of your athletic talent at some point that mindset meets reality. Sunday morning hopefully was that time for him or he'll be another Madre Hill.

I don't think he wins us any additional games. I prefer Whaley Hammonds and Williams to him although he's been solid so far.

Yeah, Madre was elite before his injury.

I do not recall him ever being in trouble.

Hammonds has way more talent and potential and is struggling to get on the field.

Crockett would redshirt here this year, I don't see him taking carries away from RWIII or Whaley, but he's all mizzou has/had.

THey played a 3 oclock game in Knoxville the day before. The game got over around 7-8. He probably got on a plance around 10-11. Got back to Missouri around 2-3. He was probably smoking in his car because he lives in the dorms and didnt want to set off a smoke alarm. He was probably just puffing before going to sleep after a game in which he rushed for 225 yards. He was not out partying at 4 oclock in the morning.

I'm sure the po-po rationalized it that way as well.
All the preceding suppositions doesn't change the fact he was out in a car at 4 a.m. smoking pot. It doesn't matter WHAT led up to it, it's still not very smart.

Not smart but pretty common in that age group on college campuses and when you live in the dorm.

Understood, but still, you have to be more discrete than that. I lived in a dorm for a year and a half myself.
