There is no proven tailback on the 2016 roster, though. The Hogs’ leading returning rusher is sixth-year senior Kody Walker, who had 394 yards last season in a career-high nine games. There also is sophomore Rawleigh Williams III, who rushed for 254 yards in seven games before being sidelined by a neck injury. For Bielema to maintain his run of 1,000-yard runners, true freshman Devwah Whaley may be the key guy.

Let's get to the important stuff. How the hell is his name pronounced correctly? We damn sure don't want to pick up the Randy Rainwater pronunciation and run with it. Dev-WAH, DEV-wah, or DEV-wuh? WAL-ey, WHALE-ey, or WALE-ey?

Whaley and RW3 have to step up big time this season. No insult to Walker but he is what he is, a fullback in the era of football that FBs are a luxury at best.

I do think we will have a potent rushing attack this year, even with our O Line being iffy. It may be by committee though.

It mentions him in the article but I really think TJ Hammonds will contribute big time. That kid is electric. He might be our best kept secret.

As long as we have our current HBC, I'm not too concerned over fielding a solid OLINE. My worries will be where they are every preseason; Defense. I won't believe Defensive front hype until I see it.

100% agree. I want to believe they will be good, and I think they can be, but I've learned to just watch and let it play out before getting over excited.

However I can't help but be concerned with the OL. It's just such an important piece of a successful SEC team and we seemed to be shuffling people around daily in the spring. I really really wish Kirkland would've stayed another year and am scared of what may happen if our inexperience shows this fall.

I mean our defensive front was pretty good like the coaches said it was when we had philon and flowers

Last offseasons over hype was an anomaly. Injuries and coaching change led to not meeting the hype imo

If there's one thing I've come to know as an Arkansas fan, we'll be above average at running the football. I have next to no worries there. My main worry is how Baby Allen will run the offense.

This. It's not like it's happened multiple times.
