Given the Smith, Enos and Segrest hires, I'd be surprised if the hire isn't out of left field. Bielema has a great track record when it comes to hiring assistants, so I'm confident we'll get a good one big name or not.

I like that the football scoop guys won't even say a name because bret will freak on them. Yet they announce other names of interest all willy nilly. It certainly makes these searches more interesting. No telling who it will be.

It definitely explains why almost all of his hires are out of left field. I always assumed they just didn't have a connection to him like they do some coaches.

this is the first time we have been told that Bret is the one keeping it quite. I figured the same that people just don't have good sources to bret, or bret just isn't telling anyone. now we know bret is telling, but telling them to keep thier damn mouth shut.

like bret told long when he came to take our job if it got out publicly prior to being done he was out.
that is the way he handles this stuff. he's not interested in getting played by other coaches and agents looking for raises and not really interested in the open position.

They're probably not saying shite, cause they don't know shite. They just wanna put some vague bullshite out there and then when the hire is made say "SEE!!! We told you!!!! We're insiders and shite!!!!". If they know shite, they say it.

Doubtful. They are usually on top of this stuff and routinely shoot down "sources" from other rumors. They don't need this to boost their street cred.
