Arkansas wide receiver Isaiah Sategna said during an interview with @HitThatLineAR that the Razorbacks are a lot closer as a team after getting rid of "negatives" in the locker room.

And the year before.

Remember when the NOLA kids and the DB coach were the bad apples?

Then it was the S&C coach.

Always someone else’s fault.

I thought the same thing. Say it after every failure of a year.. who were the negatives? Rocket? KJ?

I tend to believe him.... the lack of leadership last year makes me believe that KJ was one of the biggest negatives.

What is sad, Hunter and Titboss both need fired.

Last time we fired the AD and Football coach, we got Chaggie.

Ray Charles could see the issues with both of these players.

One basically quit until he got his way, and the other would walk out onto the field, throw a pick, hold the ball long enough for a busted play, roll his eyes, get back to the bench as soon as possible for some more taste of the rainbow!

The lack of leadership last year falls squarely on Sam pittmans inability to develop players on and off the field....

I have talked to another player on the offensive side of the ball multiple times who has said the same thing.

Guy gets paid over $5mil a year. Absolutely on Pittman. Especially since(as others have stated) this is the narrative every year for 3 years now. I don’t know why people defend Pittman. It’s literally his job to make all of this work.

On every level the QB is expected to be the team's leader.

This is why they make what they do.

A coach can only do so much the QB is suppose to be the guy the oline gives 100 to block for etc.

when you look at KJ vs B Allen, or Mallet, or even the Alpaca... His leadership doesn't correlate at all...

I wonder if the line decided kj wasn’t worth protecting.

That's where I disagree. Great Leaders are made not born....

disagree to an extent. It is both. You find leadership qualities and give the education, admonition, discipline, encouragement to make them become elite leaders.

Talent is nothing without those things. Look at what Matt Jones could have been.. but...

I think you mean leader amongst the players. Please tell me your name isn’t etched on the walk because offering up a free pass for a moron fatass coach who can’t do his job and manage his roster falls on the coach, not the QB. It’s debatable whether KJ even has the cognitive capability to count his reward skittles.

Elite leaders who are born naturals and continue growing it it are rare. It's far more commonly a learned skill like public speaking.

Matt lacked the self discipline to lead himself. That's different from leadership of others though related. Many talented athletes aren't leaders of others but have the self control to not do cocaine in an alley off Dickson....
